Search Results: should i call or wait

I have best friend, let's say, Josh. Josh and I met about a year ago. I started to get to know Josh more and found that his values, likes, dislikes, etc. were all similar to mine. We had so much in common that we could not stop talking whenever we were with each other. I also found out that he had a girlfriend during this process. However, we stayed friends, but I started to develop feelings for him, so I started distancing myself from him. I didn't want to be the other girl ruining the relationship so I took some time to get over my feelings. You could say it became an endless one-sided cycle of me liking him and trying to suppress my feelings then falling for him again. Later on, Josh told me his girlfriend and him broke up, and one of the reasons was because he began to develop feelings for me. We started hanging out more often and we would occasionally hold hands and act like a couple without saying anything. He told me he wanted for both of us to wait so he could make sure of his feelings and that I wouldn't be a replacement. But then I noticed he started messaging her again, and soon he told me he got back together with her. And so I went back to being his best friend, having to hide all of these feelings. He is a great best friend and I feel like I can't replace him because of this strong bond and understanding that we have, yet I feel like I can never get over him and I'm tired of having to go through this endless cycle. Thoughts?

So me and my boyfriend have been having a lot of fights lately and wea re close to a break up. On Thursday i told him that i am kinda in a confussion because my guy best friend is doing exactly what i like and we had a weird talk and i think he likes me. So, i told that to my boyfriend but made clear that i only want to have everything with him. After that he told me he felt hurt because it reminded him of a situation we had two years ago (in which i asked him for a break bc i was confused and didn't know what i wanted). So, next morning i asked him to meet me and avoid going to school and he told me he couldnt do that because he wants to save his absences to class to do that with me in a while. So we didn't talk for the whole day and even today (Saturday 4pm) because he is taking care of his grandma. I was wondering if i should call him to see how he is or if i shouldn't and wait till he reaches me... Any opinion?

My boyfriend was on the phone for around 3hours and he told me that there is a girl he was talking too and she was teaching him how to cook. He said he was also talking on the phone with one of his professor via video call. Yesterday, we were talking on the phone for an hour or so, then he told me he would call me back. I call him and he was on the phone. He was on the phone for around 2-3hours and told me someone was teaching him how to cook. Then he said he was talking to many people at the same time. But why didn’t he cut the person he was talking too and take my call and ask me to wait. The thing is my boyfriend likes joking and making me jealous, so I don’t understand whether I should trust him or not. I’m very confused. My family asked me not to respond his text message or phone call so fast, to wait at least for hours before getting back to him.
