So I rounded up some friends to go on a trip. We each owed $40 each. So I messaged 3 days before to see if everyone was on board, they said yes.
There's friend a , friend b and friend c.
I text friend b when will we reserve the trip.
She stated she gets paid tomorrow and will venmo me. I told her ok me too, I'll wait until you message and then I'll book it. Keep in mind I'm on a tight budget and slim income.
FriendB messages me and says she gets got paid. Will I book it so she can venmo me.
I said okay yeah let me go ahead and book it now since we are ready. I booked it and paid for everyone and sent the confirmation to everyone.
Friend C texts saying she can't go all of a sudden even when I asked a few days before. :) I was annoyed but I said ok it's fine. Friend A sent her portion of the money.
Friend B states cool, I just got a new card so I have to put it on my venmo I'll pay you later. I was confused.. Then she states oh I can't pay you because I don't have my new card on my venmo yet. So I'm like ok? Well just pay me when you put it on~
So 2 days go by and I look at her social media... She is going out and going to restaurants. Granted I don't know what payment form she's using so I can't assume.
However it just doesn't sit right that she says she will pay me then but changes it to later. If I owe someone something, as soon as I get the money I give it right back. Also the fact that it takes less than 5 min to put your card info... On venmo. I'm stressing over here and wondering why isn't she sending the money.
So I decided to just get a refund for part of the trip and told friend b. "Ugh I'm sorry, they already refunded me part of the trip since friend c cancelled, if you want to go you can put in an order still! . That way my money isn't in use and I won't have to worry about people owing me.
She replied within a minute and said no problem.
I know never to do money engagment with friends with my own money anymore.

So it’s a long story but a few months ago this guy started talking to me, we were getting along great till all of a sudden he went ghost mode. Then about two weeks ago he got back in touch and asked me out, yesterday we were supposed to go on a date he changed the time of the date 3 times because he was moving house. I just told him 10pm was too late for me for a first date. He said today he’ll be free whatever time and he’ll make it up to me.

Anyway we arranged to meet at 6pm, I stood outside the bar like a fool for a hour. I messaged him and rang him twice, he didn’t answer. I got fed up and walked off. I called him a bad name cause I was so angry and embarrassed that he wasn’t even bothering to reply even tho he went online twice and didn’t look at my message so it felt as if he was standing me up. He finally replied at 7.05 saying he wasn’t ignoring me and he was here. And he said we said we would meet at 7, I sent him the screenshot of him saying let’s meet at 6.

I said I would walk back but the message didn’t deliver cause he turned off his phone after he said he was stupid and he was sorry. I genuinely really liked this guy and this has never happened to me before. 3 times he has messed me about but I can’t help feeling awful for calling him a bad name it’s not like me to name call. If you were me would you say sorry for the name calling? I definitely don’t want to date him after standing me up 3 times but I don’t wanna be a b*tch either.
