I've been with him for 2 years. I've expressed multiple times during our relationship that I'd like presents from him. I don't expect loads, it could just be a small present, like a keyring or teddy bear just something that shows he recognises that's what I like and thinks about me. He sent me a present once on my first birthday after I'd asked him many times. My last birthday I asked him for a present politely before my birthday, and he didn't get me one.
Don't get me wrong I don't want his money or anything. Just him to treat me with something little on my birthday and valentines day? That really is all I've asked him for and he doesn't do it. Yesterday I got angry at him for it. Maybe I shouldn't have. After I've asked him 3 times for a present , he says he has an idea with his friend. This made me angry, because I felt like he'd just say it and not actually do it, and because i'd had to have asked so many times to get to that point.
he also told me he buys presents for his friend, who lives abroad, to give to his girlfriend who lives near my boyfriend.
I don't know if I should go back and apologise. But this really really upsets me. I don't expect a lot, and he's not bad off, he's just been on holiday.

I am in a great relationship on the surface. My boyfriend told me he will never let me go. He treats me like I am a rare diamond or something. He never fights with me and everything should be my way. Buys me presents and makes me really happy. He doesn't let me cook or clean. He told me he loves me way too soon and I couldn't. He says one day you will love me too. He is kind of obsessed with me.
His only fear is one day I will leave him. I told him to take it easy and enjoy the moment but he just can't.
So he gets mad even when I go out with my girl friends. Or if a guy says hi to me. Or if I take too long at work. Nobody should get close to me according to him. He introduced me to his friends but they cannot stay alone in the same room with me. So we leave parties early or he sends me home.

My friends told me to stay away from him. I don't know what to do. He is a good guy so I don't want to hurt him especially when he doesn't even raise his voice with me..
I don't know if he loves me or if this is an obsession.

Him - and i dont know what to buy for a girl.. im not a present guy

Him - is it ok if i just give u money? So u can buy whatever u like? I know u like shoes and cosmetics.. i just dont wanna get the wrong ones for you so ill just give u the money and u can go buy them

Would u be upset with your boyfriend in this situation?
