Search Results: do you prefer pale or tan

With summer already being here, everybody's running to the beach to sunbathe. As somebody who has overly sensitive skin and gets sunburns easily, I avoid sunabthing or at least don't sunbathe as often as others. And every time, others ask me why am I so pale and that I should go out in the sun more. I'll tan when I feel like it, why the peer pressure? Just because I'm a bit pale (luckily I'm not sickly pale) doesn't mean I don't care for my body. I do, I just prefer not burning in the sun. Although, I usually burn my face, arms and chest, they're the only tan spots I have.

All singers, models and celebrities have tanned beach bodies, the media keeps pressuring to go outside to tan or use products to look tanned, am I immediately ugly for not tanning?
I prefer not to go in the sun too much also because of health reasons (yeah, I can't take the heat very well) and also the fact that I don't want my skin to age prematurily and to have a higher risk of getting skin cancer. A healthy glow is nice and all, and I don't judge people for tanning, but please, don't judge those, who don't want to do it. To all the tanning fanatics out there, yes, there are people who dislike laying on the beach or tanning boxes for several hours every day.

PS. Just because I don't tan, doesn't mean I avoid the sun completely. I don't live in a basement or hide from the sun like a vampire. I usually get tans from working or just being outside while wearing tank tops and/or shorts. I don't go around telling others to stay inside, everybody can do what they want with their bodies. I don't like laying on the beach too often (sure, soemtimes I do it, but mostly because I want to rest, not just for the sole purpose to tan) It's just boring and it doesn't interest me.

Which of thw following made up girls would you prefer overall and why? Thank you for responding...

Girl #1- Ashley

Ashley is a bit girly. She has been looking into being a model... She is 5'7", tan, brown eyes, long almost black hair, and thin, not too much in the chest or bum department. She is poetic, loves to read, and wants many kids when she is older, a big family. She "needs" to be in control, can be selfish and even talk crap when she doesn't even realize it... But she does have good intentions. Seems very inocent and nice. Is the youngest and has been babied as a child. She has many fears and won't try a lot of different things because she always thinks something will go wrong for her and she doesn't want anything to go wrong for her.

Girl #2- Gwen

Gwen is an odd but fun girl. She wants to be a psychologist or work with animals/dogs in the future. She is 5'1", shorter brown hair, green eyes, on the pale side, has a really nice ass but so-so boobs. She is on the alternative side, she has always been true to herself and gone against the current, always doing it her own way as the middle child of two boys. While she is fun and adventurous, she is very antisocial and it takes a lot to warm up to her. She can be very weird, has been made fun of in school for being so different. She loves rock music. She can be closed off and avoid problems, can randomly seem mad or not okay but not tell you what is wrong, but always come around in the end. Generally a very happy person. ve

Girl #3- Jessica.
Jessica is a very athletic girl. She is very popular in school and has many many girls she hangs out with. She is blonde, blue eyes, 5'3", has nice boobs, has a nice singing voice. She doesn't know what she wants in life yet but is doing good in school. She has had many boyfriends and likes being intimate. She goes with the crowd and while she is a good person, she doesn't have her own voice. Her dad died and her step dad is rich. She gets what she wants but is sad deep down. Always seems sweet to everyone. Will do anything once and likely to give into peer pressure. She is quirky and very outgoing and friendly..

Guys with dark brown hair, black hair, average brown hair.
Guys with hazel, brown, dark brown, black eyes with whatever skin tone (tanned, pale, dark etc.)

Do you prefer a tan skin or pale skin on a love interest? Why is that so?

I know that most people don't mind how much tan someone has, but what do you think looks nicer regardless of that?

Girl A.)
Physical:
Longish wavy black hair, 5'7", tan, brown eyes, thin lips, dimples, thin. Wears girly clothing. (Skinny jeans, white converse, flower tank top, hair half up half down)
Mental: is nice but doesn't have much to her, so honest it comes off as rude, hypocryt, self respecting, selfish, organized, strict, worryful, likes the beach, never had a pet, likes to write poetry, needs things to go her way.

Girl B.)
Physical:
short dark brown hair with a hint of red, green eyes, Pale, 5'1", hair naturally wavey but always straightens it, medium sized lips, bigger ass, has a more alternative or layed back style. (Would wear a band t shirt and sneakers with a sweatshirt and boyfriend jeans)
Mental:
Generally a sweet and caring girl, puts everyone before herself, is very sympathetic, funny, doesn't take things too seriously, goofy, unresponsible, trustworthy, forgetful, insightful, likes rock or metal music, loves big dogs, confusing, socially nervous, likes scary/funny movies, likes adventure and isn't afraid to jump into a puddle of mud or something

Physical:
Long straight blond hair, blue eyes, medium lips, tanish, 5'5", no ass but c cup boobs, freckles, girlyish, (wears neon nike t shirt, leggings, uggs, hair usually up with a headband)
Mental:
very social, outgoing, popular, charming, can be dramatic, can be demanding, a bit spoiled, likes to have fun, a sweat heart, giggly, competative, a realist.
