Whenever I see adults scolding other adults who still enjoy playing video games as their hobbies, as "childish", it gives me the impression that most adults just want everyone else to be as miserable as they themselves are by just living paycheck to paycheck or living to work without having any sort of escapism or outlet for their real adult world stress.

I don't have a specific one in mind. I don't even know if any of the one's I'd like are single, let alone would be interested in me, and I have zero idea of how to approach, but this is more about the concept of if it's a good fit for me or not.

The entire concept seems unfitting for me because of how social it is.

I hate parties, and I don't like lots of attention. But it's just that I'm racking my brain trying to find a girlfriend who shares my interests and hobbies, and there are very few ways that those interests/hobbies manifest in public that result in seeing an actual person, and every time I see someone I think I would click with, it's one of those people...

Nearly all the activities I enjoy result in staying home by myself. And I do not know how to find artistically talented gamer nerds outside of the rare comicon or the overpriced arcade (which aren't very populated by my age group to begin with). Anyone I'd like is either a shut-in while doing those activities, or has one of those jobs.

Assuming you knew I was attractive, talented, a gamer, an artist, and a nerd (ie a male equivalent to these women), do you think I should persue this? Or do you have a better idea for finding that type of girl?
