Why does my ex copy me?

I dated this girl and when we were together I Owned a business, later on I saw a resume she had filled out and she was claiming she was doing my job in the business. Also she used to basically ignore or down talk me having a bunch of plants and now she has a “plant club” why does she seem to be stealing all of my ideas and hobbies?

Did she work for your business or with you on that job to any extent? Because even if your job title wasn’t hers, she may feel like she can list it as her experience if she had a hand in it, no matter how small. Especially if employers can’t/don’t follow up on it. I had a coworker once upon a time who got promoted to a manager position, Covid hit during her training and the job closed, so she never actually did the job but technically it was going to be her title. Also with the plant thing, I wouldn’t read too deeply into it. People’s interests, hobbies, etc can change at any given moment in time, and that could be her case. Maybe she was rude to you about it before but then came to notice that she does enjoy plants, just in her own way and not yours.

Has there been enough time between when you were dating that she could’ve picked it up as a profession? Sorry, just covering the bases, because otherwise yes it is strange for her to list that on her resume if she’s had zero dealings with that profession.
