Say you're born blue in a country where blue people are the majority. They own a majority of the businesses, hold most of the powerful/influential positions in government, run the entertainment industry (media, TV, movies, magazines, etc), make up most of the military and law enforcement and control a majority of the wealth in the country. Other citizens of this country include Red people, Green people, and some others who are mixed.

The blue people are used to receiving the highest standard of service wherever they go. They are kept waiting the least amount of time, are offered unrequested assistance wherever they dine or shop, are given favor over Red and Green people when they apply for jobs, and are granted entrance into prestigious colleges even when there is a Red or Green person with better qualifications than they have. Blue people also think that everyone is talking about their country/culture when they interact with other people on the internet, and are quick to take offense when someone mentions a viewpoint stemming from a cultural norm that is oppositional to Blue culture.

Now, because blue people are used to the highest standard of service, when they're treated the same way Red and Green people are treated (i. e. kept waiting for longer, ignored when they need service, etc), they immediately begin complaining about the substandard way in which they're being treated, not knowing this is how EVERYONE except Blue people are treated.

Now here's the tricky part: Being Blue is mutually exclusive with believing that they deserve to be treated in a way that's much better than what others receive. On the rare occasion Blues are treated the same way as a Reds or Greens (i. e. equally), they believe they're being treated unfairly.

The question: Is this racism, ignorance, or both for a Blue person to believe they deserve a level of treatment superior in quality to everyone else?
