I have something that made me lose hair at 18 and have to shave bakd, yeah kinda self conscious but pulled it off okay so figured I could still find an attractive girl who'd find me attractive (looks so matter people) but I seen a bunch of hate towards Adam Levine for shaving his head and now am wondering, is bald really a turn off to you girls? Be honest I am with my higher standards but I only want ones I won't lower them, (being said I actually could date a bald girl if she were slender and had a beautiful face as those are the two musts for me) so please be honest

I'm actually kinda hurt, I've shaved my head for a couple years now (I have to from shock loss) and I'm only 20, I figured yeah it wouldn't be a preferance but never figured I'd be at a disadvantage in terms of getting attractive girls since I pull it off decently, so when I heard Adam shsved his head I looked it up on Twitter and see nothing but he's ugly or old etc, bald really looks bad yatayata, so girls does it really hurt a guys looks?

I'm 20 and I shave my head from a condition, I'm psle and slender but surprisingly it works well on me given my face etc. So while I was self conscious when I first shaved I grew used to it and don't mind much as long as I could still get an attractive looking girl, but recently a friend considered baldness to be as big an issue as a guy being overweight by a decent amount which baffled me, I get hair is probably the preference but figured it wouldn't be a dealbreaker or turn off if the guy doesn't look bad with it. So girls please be honest I fully admit looks matter fully to me, yes personality is needed but physicality is just as much, I'm honest with you now be honest with me, is a guy having no hair at 20 really as bad as a guy being fat in terms of physical attractiveness? I started losing hair at 18 and at 20 it was very thin so I shaved, I often get compliments and people saying I pull it off well compared to most people who shave bald and several even saying I look better with no hair (my face and eyes are my strobgest features) anyway I wouldn't care so much if I knew I could still get an attractive girl around my age, yeah looks matter people I admit that and in fact do have high standards but I only want something real so I wouldn't call it shallow. So please I was honest with you please be honest with me, could you fall for and date a guy with no hair? Or is hair so important it kills a guy's other good looks? I'm 19 years old and I've always had short hair and last summer shaved my head bald. For a white dude I pull it off well and got compliments even from some decent looking girls. However recently I was told by a couple girls they know of no young girl who ever thought that any guy with bakd head was attractive physically which kinda bummed me out (the reason I shaved was I may have the onset of alopecia so I might not be able to have hair soon and wanted to see what I'd look like without hair) because I never thought hair mattered that much to most girls, yeah I figured some would choose some immature Beiber style dude over a guy like me with no hair but still thought I'd have a decent number of attractive girls who wouldn't care as opposed to almost none like these girls said. So girls could you be attracted to a guy with no hair? Or are those girls telling the truth that hair is a must so young

I chose this as featured for a couple reasons, one I myself have a shaved bald head at this age from a condition which made my hair super thin and whispy, I am self conscious yes but I still hold very high standards on looks (and personality) dating wise, I will not date older really and I will not settle period. I'd only date about an 8-9 range, but I take care of myself so I look decent still.
The other reason, I'm getting tired of seeing other guys ask about their hair problems all the time, I figure, if we get a question with a lot of attention it'll shut them up.
Anyway, girls, let's keep it pretty young, 18-mid 20's, can a guy who's bald so young (shaved) still hold his standards high and get an attractive girl, or is baldness seen negatively enough by many that a bald guy should expect less looks wise in his date at this age? Honesty is golden rule, if you and all your friends dislike bald guys vote no then, to me personally I'm still holding those standards either way, but help give some insight

at 20 I got what is called TE and my hair follicles began to die off, now I have no option but to shave my head skinhead bald (luckily I will keep eyebrows etc) but I always get depressed when I hear girls mock baldness and say "im sure when Im older I won't mind" see I have high standards, I will not date below what I persoanlly find to be a 7-10 range girl looks wise, but I want something real and only want one in the end, and I'd like to be married in my 20's, and I just feel like with my standards and no hair that most girls wouldn't give me ahot until they are older as well, so just be honest am I right in thinking most young girls dislike baldness on a young guy and wouldn't date him, or can a 20 year old with a skinhead shaven bald head be attractive to girls this age? I just turned 18 and right before my birthday I was diagnosed with a scalp confined alopecia, bascially my body is rejecting my hair on my head, and I had to shave whats left to avoid looking old, to me personally it was just hair but I really worry what girls my age will think, see I really wanted to be married in my 20's and I have high sandards, don't get me wrong personality matter and is needed but I won't date below what I find to be at least a 7 as far as looks and well... yeah I'm bald already, so I'm just very worried because I see so many girls say "when I'm older I won't care" and I dont want to miss out on dating in my early 20's. So girls be honest... is a bald head enough of a turn off to most that with my standards combined I'll have to wait? Or can I still be attractive bald to girls this young? I do have a good face for it and a lot of people compliment my eyes so I pull it off good for a skinny white guy haha, but still be honest if you think I still have a good shot with my standards intact this young great, if not then well at least your honest..

Yes there are varying levels of attractiveness, and in high school there is a status type deal so I can see leagues existing in that immature enviorment more, however if you keep yourself in decent shape, dress well, and talk smart, no one is really out of your league.

I personally lost my hair to a condition a couple years back and I'm a 20 year old white guy, have to shave it bald up top now, but you know unlike other people at no point was I like 'well I can't get the kind of girls I find very attractive now, I better adjust standards' I personally wouldn't date a girl I didn't fibd to be physically a 7 in terms of attractiveness at least, and that's something I'll never change, yeah I've been turned down some but everyone has, you just keep going for what you find attractive until one returns it, you shouldn't have to settle and that's why I think leagues are a mindset that only exists because people don't even take the chance thinking it's futile. So what you just go for someone you find plain then? I really think leagues is just an excuse to not go for what someone really wants due to fear of failure, I'm a 20 year old guy with no hair on my head, I'm pale but you know my face and eyes get a shitload of compliments and I stay slender, so despite it all, I'll still go for what some view as 'above my league' because I don't fear the fall from taking the jump.

I know it's more like a my take here, but I wanted to see if others agree with what I have to say about leagues etc. So what do you feel on the subject?

note that while I do think there is a general view of what is attractive or not, there is a lot of personal input, some friends don't get why I'm so attracted to a slender girl with no breasts etc when I just see her beautiful face and healthy build etc

My friend balded early and shaves his head bald now, besides skinny and pale he actually pulls it off decently due to his face and headshape, it isn't perfect but it fits and he pulls it better than most guys would I think. Anyway he is very self conscious around girls now, saying the attrwctive ones won't want him etc. (People don't bash that, I get him still needing a girl who's attraxtive I do too so do most people it's just human) and while I'm sure for some it's a dealbreaker I doubt it's that huge of an issue. But I found this site and figured it's a good place to ask. So girls, in the requested age range, can a young bald guy (he's only 19) who shaves what's left to the skin still be considered attractive and romantically desireable and could you date one, or is hair important enough you couldn't get past the lack of it on most guys? I'm 18 balded early and shaved it down to the skin, I'm white and kinda pale as my skin doesn't tan. I'm small kinda 5'10 and 135 pounds but I fit my frame okay so while I'm skinny I'm not some pencil neck guy. And I worry young girls especially attractive, will be put off by it, please no feel good answers just the truth, and picture if a young bakd guy actually approached you and your response before you just say yes out of goodwill.

My friend balded early due to physiological stress from a hard time docs were surprised he even made it out okay from. But to follow up the hardest time of his life he lost most of his hair, and has to shave it bald now. Most say he pulls it off pretty good and I think he does too (but I'm a guy though so kinda moot point) although he's pale, when he tries to tan it goes from red back to white again he just can't. And he's a pretty skinny guy standing at 5'8-9 (he's a bit taller than me that's why I'm unsure) anyway he's super self conscious of what girls will think and worried he'll be alone given his high standards on looks, and nobody bash that I agree with him and he isn't a hypocrite about it, he just needs his girl to be attractive looking, I get that. But he's only 20 so I can see his concern, so girls 18-22 range, what do you think of young bald guys? Could you date one? Or is bald as gross as some say? (Some have straight up said eww when it was brought up) also the only reason I asked for just white or Caucasian is because he has gotten a ton of black women after him since he shaved his head, unfourtunately he isn't attracted to black women so don't take that part of the question bad please.

I've seen guys post about hair-loss and baldness, and in a way it comforts me to know I'm not alone, and I posted a pic of me before asking if my head shape was decent but I gotta wonder how I would rate in the young dating scene, anyway I have a scalp condition called TE, it would take too long to explain it but I can't grow scalp hair and I decided to shave my head, (I'm 20) and I'll be starting college soon and would appreciate honesty on if I can have confidence in my looks, so girls if I approached you would you be put off or turned off by my bald head? Be honest please, I honestly say looks are a deal breaker factor for me so please return the honesty favor. Also I was always told to put two good pics and one not so good one so people know the whole view in pictures that's why there's the crappy mirror selfie haha. Personally if I knew I could get an attractive girl I'll really like I wouldn't give two shits about no hair, so while I am concerned it hasn't destroyed my self image like some guys.

NOTE!!!:please only answer the poll if you are lighter skinned, nothing against darker races but I seen it asked here before if darker complexions like shaved heads more and I'm doing a study about races finding different traits aesthetically pleasing for school and want to factor this in, so if you're black or darker skinned feel free to leave a comment but please only do the poll if you're lighter complexioned, as that's my control group in the study. Now let me start out by saying I don't want this taken at all against any race or anything of the sort, it's just I'm a 20 year old white guy who awhile back developed a condition that caused hair to vastly thin so I have to shave it bald now, and awhile back I asked a featured question if girls could find a bald guy attractive young. Since then in actual experience it seems that I've been approached far more by black and Indian girls than ever before and white girls seem to always mock or avoid me from the lack of hair even saying that's why. Now this is problematic because I've never been attracted to girls of a different race. Again I don't want this taken as an affront just things I've noticed about myself, it's not a fully conscious thing really, heck I don't even find Beyoncé attractive personally. So I'm a bit concerned that my target audience so to speak is very against it, for that reason and out of curiosity to see if different races really do differ in what they find attractive I'd take a poll. I'm a 20 year old guy who started losing hair at 17, it was a strange hybrid condition that basically aged my follicles prematurely and made me bald young, there is no treatment and for it and I opted to shave my head cue ball bald (like Bruce Willis or mr clean) rather than look like I'm 40. Anyway I'm a smaller guy and pretty pale but many people say I rock it and new people say they couldn't imagine me with hair. some friends say I look better this way. Anyway to me it was just hair, I've lost more important things in life but I am very concerned what young women my age will think.

And here's the deal; I won't consider you shallow if you couldn't find a bald guy attractive, the truth is looks very much do matter, they do for me too so I won't be a hypocrite and demonize people who want a guy to look good, I admit I have higher standards on looks but I only want one in the end, it's something serious to me, so please be straightforward if couldn't date a bald guy this age, no feel good answers.

Or can a young bald guy still be considered very physically attractive without the hair to you? (And please don't think of model type bald guys, I'm talking you're normal to decent looking guy with no hair) So does no hair/bald generally=plain or unattractive to you?
