About this guy that I have known for almost 5 months now, can't be sure but probably he likes me but doesn't want to commit. We have had a date and made out once and after that since he kept talking to me (most of the times taking initiatives ) but never asked out on a 2nd date (I had told him on day 1 that I am only looking at commitment) so, I finally told him that I can't talk to him anymore.2 days after he likes a pic of mine on a social platform and ten days after he shares 2 pics on his Instagram-one, a pic of an artwork (made by my friend that I had shared with him almost 2 months back) and the other that was his artwork (he had shared this with me) Fyi.-he loves sketching but rarely sketches now because of time constraint. I want to know if this means something or he could have done it just like that? Should I take it as a cue from him or was it a fluke or that he uploaded it just like that? By the way he avoids any sexual talk when he is sober but drunk he has even asked me for my nudes. I want to know if these are cues that he is throwing around that he is missing me and wants to reconnect. Guys please let me know what u guys feel about it!

So I met this guy on Tinder and he started to talk to me first. His approach seemed spot on and he seemed like a really nice guy. He told me he didn't like messaging on Tinder that much (and heck, neither do I) so he gave me his number and we started texting.

I found him on Facebook and he added me back after we texted for a couple of days and he seems like a really chill guy. We've made arrangements to hang out later on but anyway, enough context.

Sometimes when we text he tends to not respond after a while. I know that he has a job and stuff but he doesn't even give me a "ttyl" kind of response. Yet, if I text him first, he'll get back to me no problem.

That said, guys, do you like it when girls text you first and there's some equal give and take, or would you rather initiate the conversation. Thank you for your opinions.

I've been friends with this guy for 3 years. In our first year of being friends, we got really close. People assumed we were dating by our behavior (walking to classes together, sharing earbuds to listen to a song, joking around, him jokingly fanning me with a paper plate). But whenever I lightly brought it up, he would deflect or deny. He also didn't text me first very often, although we did have some long convos. I was kind of young at the time, & I realize now that I put in more effort than he did.

We were friends the next year but not as close, & the year after we had no classes.

This year, we have 2 classes (which is 2 less than we had that first year), but we're closer than ever. We weren't as close at the beginning of the year, but it got better, & then 1-2 weeks ago, something changed with him. Now we text more & it's a fair share of who texts first & how involved we are. In class, he has chosen to stay sitting next to me even when his close guy friend moved somewhere else. He talks to me first in class a lot more, uses my name in conversation, sometimes makes excuses to stay at his locker longer when I'm there, & makes me a part of his convos rather than me having to take the initiative (he can be shy, so I was used to having to take the first steps). He has a snapchat & only has three (all male) friends on it, & yesterday I told him to add me. He did, then I made a joke & he pretended to be hurt & then unfriended me. But then a few hours later he randomly added me back of his own will. He's snapped me first more times than I've snapped him first, & when I snapchat in class, he moves to be in the pics.

What do you think is going on? He's quiet with other people, but he's not like that at all with me and his close friends. Is there anything I should do to find out his feelings?
