I certainly believe that our planet isn't the only place with life. There must be life elsewhere at another galaxy we'll never know. By the time, this is truly discovered we'll be long gone by then; I'll be nothing but dust. I'm not a believer in ghost, supreme beings, miracles, superstitious nor anything of that nature. This is the one exception where I'm a believer in: intelligent life elsewhere.

As a cashier, I can tell you that *most* people will say they want to add another item to change the total.

I find that option to be the most hilarious. Why?

If a number can actually harm you, doesn't it make more sense to see it as a sign, that maybe you shouldn't be buying whatever it is you're buying?

Instead of taking the hint, and giving up something that might be bad for you, or even doing it a little less, most people would rather throw more money at the problem and make it go away.

Sounds like a great marketing ploy! Intentionally price items that are normally paired so that they will total $6.66, but everyone will want to add impulse items as the end, raising profits.

I'm not superstitious myself, and I'd just hand over the money and make my $6.66 purchase.
