So my boyfriend and I have had our ups and downs. In the past, he has given another girl his jacket, lied to me majority of the time (while knowing he was lying and did not have a definite plan/date on telling me the truth), lied to me about different girl's history with him the first week into dating him (he said they weren't anything when in fact they were), not listening to me when I ask him to not do certain things like buying me stuff (even when I tell him that he can give it to me on a later day), and only talking to me when it's most convenient for him on his schedule.

The lying happened towards the beginning of the relationship, he eventually had to come clean whenever I discovered his previous relationship with that girl. We've been dating for a year and a half now. My huge relationship no no is lying/dishonesty and he knew that yet lied for so long. But i feel like he's taking advantage of me because he knows that I have that "reap what I sow" mentality for this relationship. I've been the best girlfriend I could be ever since I have been dating him but he's been the opposite but I'm hoping that he eventually does turn out alright. I feel like he's taking advantage of me physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. He doesn't ask for money (sometimes) or gifts but I feel like I'm obliged to since he doesn't have much money himself since he's still in college when I'm not. I'm not sure on what to do. He does make me happy every now and then but I feel like that only happens when I'm trying to not think about what he's done to me or get caught up in the conversation (s). Tell me what you guys think.

To start when we first got together he made a big deal of learning my sexual history and me telling the truth or not and it got to me because there was a point in time when he drilled me every day. Well he told me that he had a hearty history and it was approx 20 girls some of which he does in fact know in real life. Some of the girls were quite beautiful and he had one of them as his screen saver so on and so forth. I became very down for many reasons and compared myself to their looks feeling like I did not compare. I spent countless nights he lied to me about this for so long letting me be upset about this stuff and feel a rift within myself for a year before he decided to tell the truth. At first I felt relief but now I just don’t even want to be with him anymore. I’m so irritated cause he kept on acting as if I was lying about my sexual history. I’m just kind of at two roads and I feel like I do love him but I’m not sure if I love him enough to let this one go. Give any honest opinions you feel are necessary and thanks you for your time.
