So my girlfriend... when we're at her house, and she's getting ready to go out, she very often asks me, "Honey, what looks better with this top? These shorts, or these pants?"

And it's honestly very hard for me to decide, because then I'm just basically deciding whether I want her legs bare, or completely covered by fabric. Because there's no in between. It's either pants, or really small shorts. She doesn't wear knee length shorts, or capris. The longest her shorts go is mid to upper thigh... that's it. They never show her butt cheeks, but it's always a ton of leg, and thigh.

Here's an excellent representation picture I found... no, the lady isn't her, but it describes the situation perfectly. The shorts the lady is wearing are the exact length of most of her shorts, too. Imagine the lady is asking, "What looks better with this purple top, these shorts, or these pants?" That's my girlfriend in a nutshell, lol. Either bare leg or legs completely covered up... it's hard to decide!

As she asks, I just say whatever's more suitable for the weather/what's best for her, and it depends on where we're going... like if we're going somewhere somewhat serious where we have to think a bit, I don't want to be distracted by my gf's smooth shaven sexy legs. I then say the pants. But if it's somewhere chill, like a party or a restaurant... I then say the shorts.

I also want to make sure to even things out... one time I was at her house everyday, and everyday she asked me pants or shorts... and I had accidentally chosen shorts everyday, and her friends even jokingly told her, "You haven't worn pants once this past week, only shorts, and it's not even that hot... have you quite wearing pants forever?" So then of course I say pants for about the next week to even things out, lol.

But regardless, I find it a bit weird how she doesn't own a single article of clothing in between... not a single capri, or knee length shorts. Only short shorts and full long pants.

There once was a time where women covered up such things. Now it seems trendy for many to display. (IS IT a "thing")

I'm not complaining. It CAN be sexy. I've had this conversation with girlfriends.
I would just like a womans perspective who I do not personally know please.

PS. I decided to put this into fitness group, because I know few girls that hate their thunder thighs and and trying to lose as much weight as possible in hope to get them thinner. Those girls aren't even fat, just have that shape of a body.
