A few years ago, my ex came back into my life after breaking up with me because of her religion. We didn't speak for two years, and that night we were on the phone almost 6 hours.
After a few weeks of talking, I told her I still had feelings for her, and I couldn't just be friends. She didn't understand, and it was at that point I told her I had been in love with her. Then it clicked for her.
Over the next year, we dated, she fell in love with me and she made an attempt to make the relationship work. I even proposed to her. Then she decided to go on a mission.
She broke up with me after a few months, then spent two months trying to convert me. She stopped responding to me, and when she came back, I tried talking to her. She accused me of doing things and treating her in ways I didn't do. She blamed the whole relationship failing on me. She saw nothing wrong with what she did, and just talked down to me.
I couldn't understand why she'd treat me so horrible if she loved me. But she got married less than 6 months after returning.
Since then, I turned myself around. I have a new girlfriend, I've gotten into good shape, and grew out a beard and keep up with myself. I've seen her in passing, and she always gives me an unusual look.
My friends say she give me 'I miss you eyes' but I don't see that, but I'm not too concerned either.
At the same time, I hold great pain, anger and resentment towards her for what she did and I haven't been able to let it go even a year later. I feel she shouldn't be forgiven for how she treated me, but I'm so angry whenever I'm around her because of the pain she brought me.
In this circumstance, is it wrong to not forgive someone?

I've been struggling with the break up. I feel as if I'm over her and our relationship. But not over how she abused how much I cared and how she tried to manipulate me.
Like, she knew I still had a thing for her after we separated, and once she couldn't find someone a part of her religion that she really liked. She came back to me. She strongly stressed she wanted my friendship but kept saying how she had feelings for me but couldn't act on them.
Once she knew I loved her she kept finding new ways to twist her words to say she couldn't marry or date me without me converting. I tried her church but it wasn't for me. Then she said we could date but would have me go to church with her.
I for some reason asked her to Marry me and she said she'd accept after her mission.
During her mission, she broke us up, but when I sent her a letter to fix the relationship, she viewed it 14 times before replying. With only converting pamphlets and shit like that.
She then dropped me when I refused and told me she moved on.
Now she's engaged to someone else.
I'm still heartbroken. But I'm more upset I lost myself so much for this girl when I don't think she loved me like she claimed to. Or even at all.
Is this normal? To not be over someone's actions towards you?

I casually dated this co-worker of mine for a month, but she said after one date she couldn't commit to a relationship with me because it was unfair to me. She then said she still lived with her ex boyfriend. I said I didn't want to date her in that situation. Especially after she would tell me she was trying weed. That's just how I was at the time.
She got back together with her ex not long after that anyway, and I wound up dating my ex again, but the co-worker would tell me I didn't know what I was missing.
After a year, the co-worker broke up with her boyfriend and I had moved into a new job. But she kept messaging me asking to hang out and would booty call me. But I was still dating my ex.
I unfortunately would break up with my girlfriend after we couldn't overcome some religious issues because she was mormon.
The co-worker siezed her opportunity, and started messaging me all the time. I told her I needed some time to be over my ex first. She got mad and I stopped talking to her.
After a few months, she messaged me again. I explained I was hurt that my ex tried to convert me and thought I would convert. But the now former coworker had decided to convert to the Mormon religion and tried to do the same thing to me.
I told her I wasn't interested and she's a terrible person for ignoring what happened with my ex in the same situation.
Then she unloaded on me, saying I was being difficult and constantly playing hard to get and playing games with her.
At that point I blocked her

I dated this girl for about 5 months towards the end of high school. As well as we got along, she broke us up because she was Mormon and didn't think we'd work out since I would not convert.
After two years and a few intense conversations where the last one she said I didn't have a place in her life, she reached out to me saying that her holy spirit told her to reach out to me.
After a few weeks of talking, she informed me she was going on a mission and we wouldn't be able to be together. At that point I told her I had loved her and she instead tried to keep me around.
We talked though our issues and I tried her church but I told her I still wouldn't convert. She told me she loved me and she'd try to make it work. We dated for another 4 months, and before she left I asked her to marry me.
She went in her mission and pushed me away and eventually ended things. I wrote her 3 times trying to fix our relationship, and during the second time, she told me she changed and she couldn't be with me. I told her she only believes that because of the mission and the environment she's in. She agreed and said I knew her better than anyone and I knew her heart.
She wouldn't acknowledge me after she came back and when I ran into her she blamed everything on me and she walked off on me.
Someone mentioned that she was in love with me and she was willing to break the rules of her religion to be with me. But being on that mission reaffirmed her beliefs and she broke up with me.
Cause now she's engaged and it's been 7 months since she came home.
Did going on that mission put her where she was supposed to be? Or something?
I just don't understand why we got back together if nothing was gonna change.
I'm still in love with her and this is eating me alive.
