As you can probably guess I started losing hair very young (18), not exactly tradition balding but still, my only option is a shaved head and I mean to the skin. I actually like it and despite being a skinny pale guy can pull it off okay thanks to head shape being good. But I wondered if this affected dating and attracting the pretty girl so to speak. I made the mistake of going to baldtruthtalk a site for guys or gals with hairloss and asked if it affected other young guys in the dating world. I'll spare you the details but I was lashed at saying if expect to attract any kinda girl who's attractive I'm screwed. (Please keep in mind that is what they said) but rather than listen to a bunch of brats who relied on hair too much I figured I'd ask girls my age. So young ladies, is a bald (shaved) head on a male peer a dealbreaker or generally unattractive? Will I be at a big disadvantage? Personal opinions on it? And do most women in their 20's find it repelling? (or most women in general) I need honesty if those guys were right tell me, if not great but I want to know if this'll hamper my chances young

You always see axe ads saying a guys hair is everything to young women but is it true? I'm concerned because I'm an 18 year old who suffers from a condition somewhat like alopecia so I have to shave my head to the skin, (I still have eyebrows and everything though just scalp hair affected) people tell me it looks good on me but it's hard not to get self conscious when I see those hair ads pop up, so young ladies how much does hair matter and could a completely shaven head if pulled off well, be attractive to you? Or is it a dealbreaker and puts me at a disadvantage? I have a poll but comments are appreciated and honesty is too.

I'm a 19 year old guy that got a benign stress condition after my father passed last year, it caused me to lose a lot of hair all diffuse (no bald spots just thinning even on the sides) and I was told treatment wouldn't work for hat happened to the follicles. so I opted to shave it off. I recently posted a question on here if young women found shaved heads attractive and the most common answer was something along the lines of 'if the guy can pull it off" so thats why I'm here posting this pic. ladies, preferably late teens to early twenties, do you think I pull off the shaved head decent or does it look bad on me? personally I don't mind it but I really want to know what women my age think and please be honest, I appreciate honesty even when its brutal at times.

I'm a 19 year old guy who has always had crappy thin hair, long it curled in a bad way and short showed off my hairline that looks like it recess an inch at the corners (it's been that way since I was born but still don't look good) so I shaved it to the skin and actually like it, people say it looks good on me (surprising as I'm a skinny pale guy and new people have seen old photos and say they prefer this to hair on me. But I want to know how this will affect what the attractive girls think of me. On other sites I've read about guys who are forced to shave their heads and how girls (or at least desirable ones) seem to avoid them so I decided to be blunt and ask, ladies is a shaved head really that big of a turn off, should I grow it back out or can shaved be attractive too? I added a poll but appreciate actual opinions too, if it's a dealbreaker for you say it, be blunt I appreciate honesty.

It's a long story but I had a benign medical condition that cause head hair to diffusely thin, unfortunately the follicles were permanently damaged in my case so given how thin it was I shaved it off, to the skin. People say it looks good on me (I was surprised because I'm a skinny white guy, tone but not much muscle mass) I don't try to hide it or anything, I'm not afraid to go out and don't wear hats hardly ever, and new people I started working with even say looking back at pictures when I had thick hair, before they knew me, that they actually prefer this look on me. Truthfully I actually prefer it too except for one aspect, what will the girls my age who I find attractive think? I want honesty, I admit that looks are a factor to me and a door to something deeper with someone, and I am no hypocrite I know it works both ways. I've been told back and forth so much I really need to know if this is a deal breaker for dating, see it sounds corny but one of my biggest goals was to be married in my 20's to a woman i was very attracted to body and mind. And I want to know if this puts that in danger. So ladies, could you give a guy who shaved it skin a shot? Is it a dealbreaker, will it put me at a severe disadvantage? Or can it be attractive and I'm worrying too much? And if any guy who stumbles on here has shaved your head, what was your experience like with it? Be honest please people, thanks for your time.

I'm a 19 year old who has a condition called TE, hair thins diffusely but no bald spots, that being said it looked pretty sickly so I shaved it to the skin. Truth be told I like it, everyone says I have a good head for it and it fits me (which is surprising because I'm a skinny white guy) I don't try to hide it or anything, no hats etc. honestly there is only one aspect that concerns me; girls. What are the ladies I find attractive going to say? I asked this to girls on here a while back and most said it didn't matter or could be attractive, however some guys posted that it screwed them over. So given all that, to those of us who've completely removed hair this young, did you still attract decent women?

Some details to factor in are that I never let it get to me, I dont hide under a hat or anything, I'm 5'10 and a lot of people say it looks good on me and new people I met looked back at pictures and say they prefer this on me.

So I'm a 18 year old guy who recently had a Telogen Effluvium (sudden thinning of hair due to shock) episode after family death, the hairs affected in my case strained follicles too much and they won't come back, so I have very thin hair (no actual bald spots just diffuse thinning) but even though I'm not losing more I still opted to shave my head cue ball bald because of how thin it looked, so it made me wonder how much this'll affect chances with attracting attractive girls, let's be honest looks matter and are a first step to something deeper. So ladies (18-24 range) in general does a guys hair matter much when you first meet them? I really want opinions there, Does it affect if you are attracted to them or not-and carrying over to my case, do you think the shaved head is going to make getting a decent girl difficult or impossible to me? I'm 19 and am already forced to shave my head to the skin due to very thin hair, its difficult to explain, I didn't really prematurely bald and I did at the same time, see my father passed away about a year ago and I shed a lot of hair from uptop, no bald spots but diffuse thinning, docs said that can happen after very close and shocking family death, said it was temporary, well now they said I got a very rare version of it where the follicles that were shocked were aged, so the hair I had left wasn't going anywhere but the 60%I lost wasn't coming back, like I said no bald spots but very thin overall so I had to shave it, my head shape isn't too bad but I have very white skin that just doesn't tan even when I'm in the sun a lot, and while I'm toned I can never really bulk up even when I work out a lot so I'm still relatively skinny. both of which are huge turn offs on their ownand now with this? See a huge goal of mine was to be married young to a beautiful girl, and yes that includes looks, lets just get it out of the way and all agree that looks are a required first step to attraction, I could never and have never fallen for a girl I didn't think was cute when I first saw her, now I have see attractive girls who were terrible people so I wasn't interested, its not everything but is required I guess you could say. and I really need honest opinions here. Is a shaved bald head at 19 a turn off/deal breaker for most girls this age and does it act as a deal breaker for the goal of being married young to that 'blushing bride' so to speak? I've started losing my hair in my teen years, and now it's pretty sickly looking thin up top, I'm just going to shave it to the skin and try to rock it but I can't help feel I won't attract a girl I'd find attractive. Let's all admit we have physical standards as well and get that out of the way. I'm definitely no model in the first place and am worried about my headshape and am scared shitless of being put into the 'undateable' category to decent girls.
