Talk about contradicting.
He says he refuses to commit; then talks about how he is lonely.
He waits up all hours of the night with me to make sure I am okay despite him having to be up early for work the next morning.
He sticks up for me when it comes to absolutely any case scenario. Whether it be other people bashing me or me being insecure about myself.
He has my back through everything; including unneccesary drama.

This could just be the friendship him and I have; where we are close. However, when we are together he acts super nervous. Doesn't talk much but I will catch him watching me. When he smiles he will try to cover it up; very bashful. We have hooked up in the past and he looks into my eyes the entire time and then will fall asleep wrapped around me afterwards.

I truly just don't know what is going on. Can you "love" someone and not want to be with them? Is he denying to himself the feelings he has for me? Or am I looking to far into this?

I've always been a very happy bubbly person. But after getting out of school I've felt a lot of pressure and stress. It just feels like such an inbetween stage of life (no longer a kid, but not an adult). I've been taking responsibility and doing things with my life yet I still just feel really inadequete and alone.

I've been sleeping a LOT more than usual. On days that I don't have any obligations I usually sleep in till mid-afternoon. I used to be the type of person who just liked being awake just to enjoy life. Now I feel like what's even the point of being awake unless I have to be. I've tried reaching out to a loooooot of people, just to hang out, just to get out the house, and have been shot down so many times, because so many people don't care when I'M lonely, they only hit me up when THEY don't have anything else to do. I've even told quite a few of my friends how lonely I've been. They don't take me seriously. And I have a hard enough time letting out my feelings as is.

This just feels crazy to me because I haven't felt this way before. Sadness feels like a cloud hovering in my mind. Friendships seem to wax and wane. Is this a normal in-between stage of life I'm facing? Or could this be developing into something deeper?

Basically how I feel right now. I know I am not alone but I can't help but feel so lonely. Almost a month ago I lost my best friend due to a horrible fight. She was like my other half and we basically completed each other. Unfortunately it became a toxic friendship and sooner or later the friendship had to be ended since holding on to friendships isn't worth it because of how long the friendship lasts (I read a take on this on here not too long ago). I'm better off without her but I still feel so lonely. I have a bunch of other friends but I still can't help but feel this way. Ever experienced this feeling?
