They do come larger, and they do come smaller. the huge ones Make me cringe. They look like they're going to rip. I would love to get medium sized ones. But it's really something youd have to think about for a long time, since they take a while to shrink back down to normal and you won't be able to wear dangly ones ever again. Even though I like them now I will probably regret it when I'm older so I'm going to wait a while.

I had a thought the other day and I intend to act upon it, for the fun of fooling people into thinking I would stretch my ears.

But upon looking at various fake gauge earrings for people like me who don't want to stretch my ears, I wondered:

Why do people do it in the first place, when you know your ears will never be the same without surgery?

I feel like sometimes I want them, but I don't want to commit to something so permanent. So faux plugs and gauges are what I'll use when I feel like I want to stretch my ears.

The same goes for tattoos. I am artist. I like change, I like to add things here, take some of those away, move this over there, fix that little smudge or imperfection ect. Tattoos are permanent and wouldn't let me be the kind of artist I like to be, so I'll never get one. I do however draw art on myself occasionally, when I feel like it would be cool to have a tattoo.

Is anyone else feeling the same way?

If you have your ears stretched, how much do you like it, regret it, perhaps? Why?

I got my husbands name tattood on my hip two weeks ago to surprise him. He wanted me to get his name for awhile now because he'd thought it'd be sexy, and our new born son has the same name, but after seeing his reaction, I'm starting to regret it. He didn't seem as happy as I thought he'd be and was actually quite surprised. Last night, I started looking up prices for tattoo removal, than worst case scenario I'd cover it up. Although we're on good terms, the last thing that I want is for our relationship to end and I still have his name there. Our son has the same name, but where it's located seems strange to put a child's name.
