Why don't Mexican immigrants go to Canada, instead of the U. S?

With a Mexican passport, you can go to Canada whenever you want to. You need a visa to go to the U. S., but not Canada. So if I were a Mexican immigrant, I would go to Canada. I get visa-free access there. That's awesome.
