I think we all know that at universities, political correctness may as well be a requirement. But is this just going too far?
According to this trending news story, a University of Houston student was suspended for 50 days by the student government association for a reference she made about a Black Lives Matter crowd. Rohini Sethi wrote:

"“#ForgetBlackLivesMatter; more like AllLivesMatter."

And for that, she gets suspended from government association activities for 50 days. Fair or foul?

Karlie Hay, an 18 year old from Texa, crowned the official winner of Miss Teen USA, has been under fire recently after some detectives uncovered her using racial slurs on her Twitter years or so ago.

The contest, which had also been criticized for only featuring blonde haired blue eyed girls as the finalists, allowed her to keep her rewards, as she apologized.
The apology says that she had personal problems, which accounted for her use of the slurs, and Miss Teen USA defends their choice to keep her as the winner.

Do do you think she should be able to keep her title? Why or why not?

Like a lot of kids, I grew up with those beautiful Disney princesses, from Snow White and Cinderella to Ariel and Belle.

I also grew up with Barbie and yet, I'm not some image-obsessed female who wants to kill herself because she isn't a size 0. :P

I think it's dumb to have a plus-size Disney princess just because that's the trend now. I don't fat-shame or anything but... really? Loey Lane seems to think it's a good idea.

In 2018 there will be a new Tomb Raider movie and this lovely lady will play Lara Croft.

Walking around with a bra is still controversial, despite all the women's lib we've been drowning in for the past few decades. And I don't mean "drowning" really because it has been a GOOD thing... when taken in moderation.

Anyway, model Kendall Jenner has responded to people asking why she walks around without a bra. In a post titled "Free the Nipple," she wrote:

“I really don’t see what the big deal is with going braless. I think it’s cool and I really just don’t care! It’s sexy, it’s comfortable and I’m cool with my breasts. That’s it!”

She added that she gets to show off her nipple rings, too, which might be the ulterior motive. But would most girls do this? Go braless just to show off nipple jewelry?
