State lawmakers in New York and Virginia have debated legislation that would make it easier for women facing serious health risks or fetal complications to get an abortion in the second or third trimester of pregnancy.
At a campaign rally in El Paso, Texas, on Monday, President Donald Trump criticized those bills, making false claims about how they work.
Enacted in January, the New York law allows a woman to get an abortion after 24 weeks of pregnancy if her health or life is threatened or if the fetus would be unable to survive outside the womb. Under previous state law, a woman could only get an abortion after 24 weeks if her life was at risk.
On Monday, Trump echoed critics who have falsely claimed that the bill would allow a woman going into labor to have an abortion.
“Democrats are also pushing extreme late-term abortion, allowing children to be ripped from their mother’s womb right up until the moment of birth,” Trump said in his speech Monday night.
The proposed Virginia bill, which has been tabled, would have reduced existing restrictions on later abortions if a woman’s health is threatened.
“The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired,” Northam told the radio station WTOP. “And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
Critics have falsely claimed that Northam’s comments indicated support for infanticide, an argument he called “shameful and disgusting.”
Late-pregnancy abortions remain rare. Just 9% of abortions take place after the first trimester of pregnancy, and only 1% of abortions take place at 21 weeks or later, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a research and policy organization that advocates for reproductive rights.

This Guy is one of my favorite Stand Up Comedians and I was really disappointed of him when I heared about the stories of him jerking off infront of women after some of his shows, even though He asked them before doing so.
It's just weird and inappropriate since he has family with two daughters.

In my opinion, the reality is that da Kwa is a police state. To see the truth in that just go out partying some time, or just drive through any random small town, police are every where, literally everything requires a permit or is forbidden, and boy are they ever vigilant when it comes to enforcing their petty little laws. Among other things try using a tripod in a public park sometime. Immediately some badge fag comes waddling over demanding that you present a permit. A jihadi schoolgirl who fled London to join ISIS at age 15 is now asking to come home so she can have her third baby in Britain.

Heavily pregnant and now 19, Shamima Begum has surfaced in a Syrian refugee camp and says she doesn’t regret her decision to join the Islamic State.

She is due to give birth to her third child, after her first two children died of starvation and illness, and wants the baby to have a decent life with her in the U. K.

She added: “I know what everyone at home thinks of me as I have read all that was written about me online. But I just want to come home to have my child. I’ll do anything required just to be able to come home and live quietly with my child.”

It is not clear how her wish to return to Britain will be received by the UK Home Office, which has strict laws for citizens wishing to return after traveling to ISIS territory.
