Drones are more and more visible in our life: the police is starting to use them, the military have been since years, and private users develop 101 ideas involving them.

I must say that so far most of drones I saw were just on TV. Including some crashes...

There was this one event I attended in September where a police drone was hovering overhead the parking lot, looking out for people with wrong intentions.

So what are your experiences with drones?

Comedy writer Katie Rich was suspended from SNL for tweeting about Trump's 10-year-old son Barron. The tweet was, “Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.”

This provoked a wave of outrage in which almost 79,000 people signed a Change. org petition demanding that she be fired. She has since issued a groveling apology, deleted all of her tweets, and been suspended by NBC. Do you agree her tweet was egregiously offensive?

Last year, gamers rejoiced at news that Nintendo would finally release a low-cost retro console packed with classic 8-bit games. However, the company made such limited quantities for launch day (probably deliberately) that it instantly sold out everywhere. They apologized and promised a steady stream of product to come. Yet over two months later it is still nearly impossible to find, and gamers like me are fuming. There's no good reason to deprive consumers of these historically important games. And no excuse for production delays either. It's not like this is some cutting edge Apple product that is difficult to make! Nintendo chose not to take pre-orders for the Classic which would have given them some idea of how many to make. So they deserve all of the blame.

This situation is unfair and undemocratic! It's a slap in the face to the values of consumerism and materialism which have defined America for generations. I'm sure fans in Japan don't have this much trouble finding the console. What happened to putting America first? Many US gamers are disgruntled and fed up with Nintendo's tactics but have nowhere to turn for help.

However, since Trump has already been strong-arming companies to stay in America with some success, he could easily apply similar pressure to Nintendo, possibly imposing sanctions on the company unless it increases production of the Classic Edition to meet demand. At the very least he could send out some acrimonious tweets to raise awareness. Geeks are an underrepresented demographic whose needs have been ignored for too long. What do you think?

During the election, we all heard allegations of media bias coming out of America. Since I don't live there and don't watch much news, I didn't really think much of it. Then yesterday I saw the following headlines on the free newspaper that every commuter in my city reads:

1. ON THE MARCH: With Trump's inauguration looming, these A-list activists are bringing the fight to Washington (accompanied by pics of Chelsea Handler, Katy Perry and Amy Schumer)

2. "White guilt is good when it motivates you to do better": Black Lives Matter activists look to make true allies out of white people

3. How to tell your friends they're wrong to disparage the women's march

This was all the "news" that made the front page. It almost seemed like a joke! I realize news outlets often have an editorial perspective that leans left or right, but they used to at least try and give the appearance of objectivity and impartiality by confining writers' opinions to actual opinion pieces and editorials. They would also get both sides and include dissenting views. But it seems like the above headlines all come from the same mindset and come dangerously close to indoctrination. Is this what they mean by media bias?
