I'm just asking out of curiosity. I personally think RiceGum didn't do anything wrong. Alabama posted those images publicly on Instagram, and people have the right to say what they want. Sure, those comments telling her to kill herself would be cyber bullying, but RiceGum can't tell people what to comment. There was no copyright infringement made, and if you post a selfie, not everyone is going to think your heavy make-up is pretty and totally appropriate for your age. Especially if you pose by sticking out your booty when you just turned ten. If anything, her parents threatened RiceGum, since her father told him he will find him and go to his house.

So, Serena has "broke" Twitter recently for wearing this dress to her big tennis match. The dress was described as "too revealing" and "trashy because her nipples were visible through it.
People are outraged and are taking to Twitter to express their concerns.

Then others jump to her defense. Saying that these people are overreacting to the outfit, and "slut-shaming" her for no reason.


What do you think? Was the dress too revealing, or are people overreacting to this whole thing?

This new Smartphone app from Nintendo just came out recently and is an awesome idea. Though from what I have tried so far I can't do much due to not being able to travel constantly. Since I live out in the boonies and don't have much of transportation. Plus other articles I have read about what's happened are down right funny as hell. XD People walking into police stations and them telling people to please not do that and others just finding Pokemon hanging around their toilets. XD

I don't think women should be in combat. Mixed-gender troops perform more poorly than male-only troops, & female soldiers experience 6x more injuries, which costs lots of time & money.

I don't think that exclusion is sexist oppression but rather a matter of physicality. People with flat feet are not allowed in the military on the basis of their flat feet. Is that oppression against people with flat feet? If flat feet can be considered reason for exclusion, so can having a female body.

Females could effectively wield a weapon but what happens when their weapons are stripped from them? They’re much less able to defend themselves due to massive differences in brute strength, which barely overlap (i. e. most of the weakest men are stronger than most of the strongest women and untrained men are stronger than trained women).

Yes, flat feet are a medical condition and being female is technically not. However, being female is a physical condition (i. e. “the condition or state of the body or bodily functions”), which, on the basis of physical characteristics, I think could fairly exclude someone from combat.

Men with 1 or 0 testicles are also excluded from combat. Wouldn’t it be equality to also exclude women from combat on the basis of having zero testicles? Especially since testicles, and the accompanying testosterone they produce, are what makes a man have enough brute strength & aggression to be more psychologically and physically suited for combat.
In this vein, women can be allowed into combat if they have 2 testicles (trans women have testicles, so it's possible), just like men.

Just a note that this does NOT make women inferior!!!
Rather, men and women simply have different functions! Is an eye superior to an ear, or vice versa? No, they just have different functions!

I don't really have a strong opinion regarding this issue.
I think having a gun is good to protect yourself if needed in extreme cases BUT it does seem somehow that guns are bringing more crimes than anything else?

I understand that guns are part of the American heritage , culture and identity (with the whole cowboy and sheriff thing) but it seems like there are many shootings and gun crimes there (maybe it's just being blown out of proportions by the media, I don't know)
What are your arguments?

Zhangjiajie, a scenic national park in China has officially opened the worlds longest AND highest glass bottom bridge.

The boy's family was visiting the zoo when the boy slipped away and entered the enclosure. The boy went under a rail, through wires and over a moat wall to get into the enclosure, according to the zoo. Footage shot by a witness shows the 17-year-old silverback Harambe dragging the child through the water as the clamor of the crowd grew louder.

Zookeepers shot the 450-pound gorilla with a rifle rather than tranquilizing him. Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard said he stands by the decision to kill Harambe in order to save the child. The child was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
Jack Hanna, the director of the Columbus Zoo, also says the Cincinnati Zoo made the right call by killing Harambe.
The host of "Jack Hanna's Into the Wild" tells WBNS-TV that he saw video of the gorilla jerking the boy through a shallow moat in the exhibit Saturday afternoon.
Hanna says the boy would have died if the gorilla wasn't killed.

Do do you agree with this? Do you think the boy would have died, or do you think there were other options to ensure that the gorilla wasn't harmed?

Should the family be held accountable for the loss of this gravely endangered Gorilla? The Zoo basically can flush 17 years of breeding down the toilet. They were also planning on breeding with Harambe, so now they have to wait another 17 to 18 years to do this. By then the last wild one could already be extinct. Of course I am glad that the kid is alright, but I am also extremely pissed and sad about the avoidable loss of a beautiful creature. There is a petition out there, to have the family criminally persecuted for neglect. I'm not sure how I feel about that though. Personally, I think they should rather cover some of the financial investment the Zoo had to raise Harambe, plus the costs they will have raising the next male. in my opinion, it was an accident yes, but an avoidable one. Yes, small children can disapear in a second, BUT knowing this, parents should be extra careful. Especially if the kid had announced that he wanted to get in there. A small child will not understand a "no honey you can't do that", well, a well raised kid should listen and follow instructions, but unfortunately a kid is a kid. He probably just saw Mowgli and thought he'd say Hi to the Ape. I don't know, but it is no excuse whatsoever. Then the mom came forward, telling the world "my child is fine, thank God" but not one freaking word of "sorry" for the Gorilla. like WTF Lady? Do you feel ANY sort of anything about this other than defending her parenting skills? No wonder people are very pissed. So, what do you guys think?
