Almost 40 million people take cruises each year, and it's growing, with cruise lines putting more ships in service, at more home ports, each year.

As of 2025, there are approximately 100 different cruise lines operating worldwide, including mainstream (55), luxury (20), river (15), and expedition (10) cruise lines.

My wife and I went out to a nice restaurant to celebrate her birthday and our anniversary. There was, of course, Valet Parking.

When we finished dinner, two other couples, plus us, were waiting for their the Valet to get their vehicles.

I happened to notice how much each tipped the Valet, and I knew how much we tipped him.

That is not true. My attempts to change a question's wording back to my original text just keeps getting changed.

Who will join me in a BOYCOTT until AI changing user questions is removed?

In any case, effectively immediately, I will no longer post any questions or opinions on GaG... until this ridiculous AI changing of user text is removed.

I may log in to see what's happening but I will make no posts.

I don't do this lightly. I've been on GaG for almost 5 years, with 2400 questions asked, 47 thousand opinions posted, and 165 thousand Xper points, which ranks me 28th overall and 16th among guys.

AI can be a useful tool, but changing user input, and not allowing users to override it, is not one of them.

Since there was a question about looks, I’m doing a poll of my own. Who agrees that matched experience is the most important thing (if a woman is experienced and the man is a literal starter, it’s cooked)?

So, I've been wondering this for a bit. Personally, I'm very tall (6'6"/198.5cm) but slim and I have a thing for thicker women with somewhat pudgy tummies (maybe even more that somewhat at times).

It makes sense that a lot of the more heavy set women like men who are either chubby like them or big and buff, but I was wondering if a significant portion also liked slim men too.

Putting in a poll here for scientific reasons.

After more than a hundred years of minting the Lincoln head cent, the US mint has stopped minting pennies in 2026. It makes economic sense to stop since it cost the mint almost 3 cents to produce a coin valued at 1 cent. Other countries stopped minting cents years ago, Australia and New Zealand in the 1990s and Canada in 2012.

2025 is the last regular mint year you will see, though special 250th Anniversary pennies (American Independence was declared in 1776) are planned to be minted in limited quantities for collectors in 2026, not for general circulation.

So... the question must be asked...
