6 moA moderate conservative.
I believe in a mixed economy. I don't believe every facet of services should be privatized, yet I don't believe in everything being government ran/controlled either. For example, my state only just recently deemed EMS essential (in 2021). Fire departments are not deemed essential in my state, resorting in many communities having non-profit entities providing the services in the form of volunteer fire departments. Other areas, like mine, have for-profit entities that charge high subscription fees with a failure to pay resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in penalty fees if an emergency were to ever occur. This also places the burden onto willing subscribers. In some areas, they will not respond at all if you fail to prepay a subscription. It is an overall poor system and model of service. We are facing a volunteer firefighter shortage crisis.
I do not condone monopolies either and believe anti-trust laws must be enforced. Competition in the private sector is always important.
I don't agree with open borders. I believe in enforcing immigration laws. I believe this should be strictly enforced.
I support our troops, our first responders, also including our EMS and firefighters along with our law enforcement. They are all in this together.
I am a Christian and pro-life.

Which right now means voting democrat on a state level because i'd never forgive republicans for trying to censor the internet. And republican on a federal level because there the democrats are the liberty removing ones.

They are the ones who put a madman into the Whitehouse who is now destroying what is America: our democracy, beliefs, ideals, morals, and pride. He is a 34 count felon, failed businessman, conman, rapist and Epstein file distractor, Putin-loving wanna be dictator. Ask anyone from another country what they think of him--and they will most likely tell you--they are sorry for you, and are afraid to come here now. And his cult will like that just the same because they are as bigoted as he is.

Anonymous(30-35)6 moThere's no difference between a Republican or a Democrat. You are either a liberal or conservative. There are no other options.
So how do you know which you are?
A conservative will tell you that you’re smart for having a doorbell camera on the front of your house. A liberal will call you racist for having the same thing.10 Reply

6 moIndependent, but I haven't voted for Repub since 2004 when I voted for Susan Collins in Maine. That turned out to be a big mistake and then their entire party went to shit. The Dems are only slightly better but at least their humane. Today, the GOP is a fascist organization pretending to be a political party.
20 Reply 1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I vote for country over a party. Right now I do not believe Trump and his billionaires (and cabinet idiots) do not care about the middle class. They have done nothing to "bring down prices on day one" like promised. Well the list can go on and on. But country over party I'm sure many of the MAGAs will just kiss the ring of the king and follow him off of a cliff.

6 moNeither, will sometimes vote Democrat (not in a long time though) sometimes Republican and sometimes independent
Basically whoever is closer to center is getting my vote. Unfortunately Dems have gone so far left they should just change their name to the communist party.
00 Reply 11.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I'm a far-left Democrat, and I only vote Democrat because there's not a choice that's more leftist generally. I would not in a billion years become a Republican, date a Republican, live with a Republican, or even sometimes tolerate a Republican. However, that said, some of my closest friends are Republicans. So, go figure.

Anonymous(45 Plus)6 mo100% democrat! There's a reason CONservative behind with con. Because CONservatives are all a bunch of cons. Just like the con they worship Don the Con.

Actually 'con' means 'with' in conjoined conjunction that is a good thing!
6 moI have been a republican my whole life. But not a die hard republican because it is politics, and none of the political parties really match up with what the Bible teaches.

6 moNeither. I just look at politics and see what's going on but I don't identify with any of these political groups especially not the Democrat party who apparently doesn't even know what a woman is.
