Neither. I'm Libertarian.
I've tended to vote Republican back when Libertarian Dr./Air Force Capt./ex-Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) & his son Dr./Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had more influence. Ron senior was consistent & stayed true to Libertarian philosophy, even if it meant standing alone. His son Rand decided to get Libertarian ends by 'pragmatic' means (playing politics and joining the ruling-faction, which was ex-Pres. Trump's group), which many a Libertarian opposed.
The 2parties are corrupted and are destroying themselves & the Union, by ripping apart our sense of unity & nationhood. I'm a card-holding member of the Libertarian Party, but petition and work with Republican & Democratic politicians & initiatives whenever they advance the cause of liberty and/or oppose tyrannical moves to endanger the Constitution. (ex. join Democratic anti-war campaigns by war-mongers who usurp power to declare war given in the Constitution only to Congress & Republican moves to protect the 2nd Amendment, as well as non-partisan fights to protect digital-privacy without a warrant demanded by the 4th Amendment)
I'd advise doing the same. (I will post a listing of all the U. S. parties I've detected so far. Find what actually fits your convictions and coordinate with them.) No party has a monopoly on good/evil. BOTH have corrupt, power-hungry, lying, 2-faced personnel who deserve deposing. BOTH have initiatives to harm the Union. BOTH have counter-movements to counter them. Play them against each other for now, while advancing the actual party (for the future). Hopefully, the 2 will destroy each other, and a multi-party system will arise from their smoldering ashes.I'd consider myself an independent and a moderate conservative. Since I started voting in Presidential Elections, I voted Democrat in 1992, 2000, 2012, 2020 and Republican in 1996, 2004, 2008. And I abstained in 2016.
I think the direction both parties have gone in the last 30 years has been nothing short of a train wreck.I am really an Independent but the current state of the Democrat party is so crazy and destructive to our country that I guess i have to call myself a Republican.
My life and my lives of most of my friends and family have definitely got better under the Trump Administration. I liked his policies although I could have done without a lot of his tweets. Basically I just ignored them since I don't have a Twitter account. There's so much more out there than just dem/rep. And honestly dem and rep are basically the same thing, with very slight differences.
I suggest you take this quiz to see what parties you allign with based on your ideologies. It's well worth it and a great starting off point. Once you know how you allign you can research those parties and find out which fits you perfectly!
https://www. politicalcompass. org/I'm registered as non party, but I'm lean more on the left on most issues.
I am a republican and I find democrats VERY rude and immature, BUT EITHER SIDE CAN BE! People are people!
Your professors, grade school teachers, the News Media, Celebrities, and foreign nations will be proud.
Dem. Not a member or even a party donator. But I’ve voted for/donated/volunteered for only Dem candidates.
Independent. The 2 big ones are just lying about their shit.
Neither. Both parties are severely broken and need to be de-powered and replaced with something better.
