She asked me about the town I lived in, and I said that the city is really competitive she asked what makes it so competitive, and I told her that it was about the people and how they all wanted to reach the top. She asked me to clarify, and what was "the top"? I told her that everyone just wants to get to the best college, have the best job, etc., and that while I do want to get there, I want to get something else out of it and make it more meaningful and that was a little bleh. I also said that I thrive in competition, and Im applying to a school that is more laid back...

Then she asked what my favorite AP class was. I told her econ because it was more practical and that the teacher was very practical. I didn't know how to elaborate on it more, so I just repeated practical and stopped there...

She then asked what class I don't like. I said Gov because there was so much busy work. She wanted me to clarify what busy work is. it took me a while to say but I eventually said that it was just taking notes, and that there was no analytical thinking

Everything else went smoothly. she was impressed that I said 5 AP classes, & she asked if this was the most rigorous schedule at my school & I said yes. I told her about how much I liked physics by giving her a "day in the life" example, talked about my gymnastics and how I train 4 hours a day and my dedication towards it (she was impressed about that), and gymnastics teaching and what one class would be like for someone who's never done gymnastics before, how I manage my time when doing 5 APs, and my "academic obstacle" in sophomore year and how I changed by being more organized, all in detail.

In the end, she said that I seem like a great person and thought the interview went pretty well, but she had 1 piece of advice: to be more professional about my email subject title. but she said it didn't bother her, it would just be a good tip for future interviews.
