Now, before I say anything, I know most of you find astrology to be bs, and that’s okay. It’s not the most accurate representation of somebody's life. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t fun to see how you’re unlike or similar to your sign you are. Sometimes it can be amusing to see how we compare to them. They can be extremely accurate, or not accurate at all.
The fun of astrology is to see is to learn about our signs characteristics and meaning. It’s exciting when you get a moment when you’re like, “That’s me!” or “How did they know?” If you don’t get these moments, that’s totally fine too! Mix and compare, see how you and the people around you match up to them.
Below are the twelve signs and their traits, and some more information about them. You can use the traits and compare them to yourself and the people you come across. See how they are like or unlike their signs. Who knows, you might have fun doing so. If you don’t, it’s totally fine too. Not everything is 100% accurate. If it is, then good for you.:) Use your friends, family, peers and your sign to your advantage.

Aries
Symbol: The Ram

Element: Fire
Aries people are leaders. They are insightful, dominant, and creative. Being the ram, they dive into things head-first. This can be a good and bad thing. This makes them fearless, they will never back down at any challenge ahead of them, and will fight for what they believe is right, but they most often will never consider the consequences. Aries is ambitious and passionate, they display much perseverance, but are short-tempered. Don’t be quick to anger one, you WILL regret it. Aries is ruled by Mars, the god of war. This makes them fearless, and sometimes very aggressive. Don’t let this fool you, as Aries people can be down-to-Earth as well.
Taurus
Symbol: The Bull
April 20 - May 20
Ruled by: Venus- the planet of love and beauty
Element: Earth
Taurus people express strength, determination, and will, like the animal that represents them. Stubborn, they will stand their ground to the bitter end, sometimes irrationally so. But that’s okay, because Taurus is a loving, appreciative and sympathetic sign. Taurus is the sign the we will most likely come to when we need a shoulder to cry on, and share our problems with. The Taurus is patient, practical, and efficient, and is excellent in jobs that require a lot of work ethic and effort. They can have a hard time opening up about their personal battles at times because of their stubbornness, but that doesn’t make them any less of a good person. Although they may be fighting for themselves at time, they are endlessly brimming with passion and love.
Gemini
Symbol: The Twins
May 21 - June 10
Ruled by: Mercury - the planet of communication
Element: Air
Geminis are said to be very adaptable, and they will be quick to tell you all about it. Geminis love to talk! They are quick to acknowledge the meanings of situations and interpret it quickly, usually positively. Geminis tend to have a double nature, and it can be hard to predict how they will react when faced with a certain situation. They can go from 0 to 100 in a split second. They can go from jubilant to depressed in another. Geminis can very in all sorts of ways, which is why they are ruled by Mercury. Communication means a lot to them. They are usually very intelligent, and love to share their intelligence with the people they love to talk to. Gemini is an air sign, which means that intellect is an important characteristic to The Twins and all the other air signs. Geminis don’t disappoint in that department.
Cancer

June 11 - July 22
Ruled by: The moon
Element: Water
The crab is all about family, home life, and tradition. Females usually make great mothers and nurturers due to this quality. They tend to operate on a fundamental level, and want to understand the world around them. They tend to observe to get to know people, and are usually very sensitive. They can get offended or hurt very easily by people. The moon rules a Cancer, which tends to make them quite moody. They will tell you this isn’t true, and it isn’t all that often. Cancers can be very sympathetic, and are great listeners. They will comfort you in your time of need. But when they want to retreat, it’s best to let them. Water signs usually have intense feelings and emotions, and Cancerians do not shy away from this trait.
Leo

Element: Fire
Leos want you to hear them roar! The lion is all about power, expense, and determination! They are natural born leaders of the pack, and have tendencies to not let their opinions go unheard. That’s okay though, because they usually observe before they pounce. They are savvy with finding out the cause, executing swift judgment with a beneficial outcome. This comes with being a natural-born leader. The big cats are courageous, intuitive, with a strong heart, but this can go all to their head, and they may come off as arrogant and cocky. Beneath this big outer shell lies a compassionate, sensitive, and loving individual, which they do not show to just anyone. They may be just a tad bossy, but hey, this comes with an underlying need to do good, and not always from their inflated ego.
Virgo

Element: Earth
Analytical describes the Virgo. They tend to be inquisitive, and experts at drawing information from people. Ruled by Mercury, they are good at communicating with people. People usually love to have conversations with them, because of their charming attitude. They are naturally intuitive, and flexible. Usually expressing a remarkable memory, this creates an analytical personality, but the virgin needs balance, like Libra, or they may become snappy, closed off, angry and short-tempered individuals. They tend to thrive in social situations, and they love to speak their minds (and may come off as blunt). They are all about perfection and balance.
Libra

Element: Air
Their sign being a scale, Libras are all about equality, balance, and justice. With Venus as their ruler, they embellish themselves with harmony and beauty, sometimes to absolute extremes when their goals are too hard to accomplish, and this can be unhealthy for them. They can be caring, understanding, and usually the champions of underdogs. They follow their intuitions, and don’t give themselves enough credit at times. They can have big personalities, or can be quiet and shy if not coaxed out of their shells. Ironic to their sometimes introvertedness, they are excellent at debating, providing points of of seemingly nowhere.
Scorpio

Element: Water
The Scorpio is by far one of the most misunderstood signs of all. They are bold, and can get through almost anything without cracking under the pressure. They can accomplish almost all odds with unshakable focus when the situation calls for it. Even with this bold nature, they are often secretive, keeping to themselves and observing everything that goes on around them with keen eyes. Their symbol being a scorpion, they do not stay withdrawn for long, and when rattled, they can pack a powerful sting! This is true, scorpios tend to be argumentative, because they see opposition as a healthy challenge. Did I mention that Scorpios are really, really sexual too?
Sagittarius

November 22- December 21
Ruled by: Jupiter — the planet of luck and expansion
Element: Fire
I am a Sagittarius, and I can tell you that we are nearly always optimistic, even when things look bleak. The archer is a free spirit, channeling the energy into many things at once. They tend to wander off the path going in their own direction and doing their own thing. They are not very patient individuals, and can get quite ticked off when things don’t come right away. Even when things look grim, they will try their absolute hardest to overcome the obstacles, and usually do, which is why they are ruled by the planet of luck. Cheerful and down-to-earth, the Sagittarius is the life of the party with their cheery outlooks on life, and are usually well liked among people. They make fantastic motivators and loyal lovers, but their freedom can come into play, because Sagittarians want adventure and exploration. They need to be free at times. Their vengefulness and tendencies to get back at people can come back to bite them along with their need to be free. Sometimes they can have trouble letting go of the pass. Overall, though, Sagittarius is an all around philosopher and free spirit of the zodiac signs.
Capricorn

The mountain goat is a thinker, a philosopher. They apply this knowledge to practical situations, and aim for stability and order. They tend to have great organization skills, and they achieve their goals through a systematic method. They express intuition, but they do not share their traits freely. Trust is needed for them to open up. Capricorns do not do well with opposition, criticism, and hate, but a healthy one will let these things brush off, and will go on with their lives. The goat is patient and preserving, and they know they can accomplish their tasks with their step-by-step methods every time. Capricorns are great at solving other people's problems and usually give great advice, but ironically, they have trouble sharing their own issues and keep them hidden from people that they haven’t given their full trust to. When trusted, they will open up.
Aquarius

Element: Air
Often a simple individual, the waterbearer goes about accomplishing goals in a quiet, often unorthodox ways. Although their methods may be unorthodox, the results for achievement are surprisingly effective. Aquarius people will take up any cause head on, and are humanitarians of the zodiac world. They are usually honest, loyal and highly intelligent. They are also very laid-back and make natural friendships with almost anybody. If not kept in check, the Aquarian can be prone to sloth and laziness. However, they know this about themselves, and try their best to motivate themselves to get up and do something about this. They are also prone to philosophical thoughts, due to being ruled by the planet of originality, and are often quite artistic and poetic. They love to express themselves, and love to be praised for their achievements.
Pisces

Element: Water
Often lost in their own little world, dreamy Pieces possesses vast amounts of knowledge, and you would never know this. The fish usually keeps an extremely low profile compared to other signs. They tend to get overwhelmed, and usually love to retreat and keep to themselves. The fish is compassionate and caring, and this makes them vulnerable to be taken advantage of because of these qualities. This sign tends to be beautifully gentle, and generous. They are highly creative and can be super artistic. They usually thrive in creative courses. They express passion in what they do. In the end, however, the Pisces is often the victor of ill circumstance because of their intense determination. They may become passionately devoted to a cause - particularly if they are in it for friends or family.
