I'm dating my girlfriend since November so I've always seen her in socks and shoes. As summer is coming, temperature is increasing and she starts to wear sandals, which is normal.

But, yesterday was a rainy day and she came to my house in sneakers. When she entered the house she removed her shoes and wasn't wearing any socks. I was a little shocked and asked her why she does that.
She told me that since she has been in sandals most of the time these days, putting some socks on was too annoying for her. Then she said she generally doesn't put socks in summer because she mostly wear sandals and feel too lazy (she actually doesn't even mind) to grab a pair of socks for the few occasions she wears closed shoes.

Do you do or know people who do the same?
Is it common among girls?

I've personally not had too many comments come from people irl. But I have heard online that I look French, Northern Italian and Eastern European. So I guess I'm from all over 😂
