What makes you believe in God?

Why do Temple/Church Priests behave as if God lives only in their Temple/Church/etc?

How so? I was a Protestant Christian for many years and never thought that. I believed god was omnipresent. Some faiths believe that god/s reside in a specific place ie Mt Olympus Religion & Spirituality

Do you think about your own mortality?

No. I understand and realize that I will die someday (unless medical science advances to some miraculous degree) I just hope death comes calling later rather than sooner. Religion & Spirituality

What is so bad about being an Atheist?

Nothing inherently. I am an atheist. The problem is that it’s harder. You have to build a philosophy, a system of ethics and morality from the ground up. This is not necessarily a problem with the... Religion & Spirituality

Certainly not the norm. The norm is to be religious and then give it up at some point per the studies about irreligiosity. Religion & Spirituality

Why does god need your money?

Nihilism. Do you support the theory?

I’m what’s called a positive nihilist. This means that while I think life is ultimately meaningless (ie the sun moon and stars won't weep upon my death) I don’t think that my life is meaningless.... Religion & Spirituality

I think the opposite. It seems most apparent to me that people fight over almost anything but ideas. Hence the need for the scientific method Religion & Spirituality

If there is a God, why go to the doctor, wear a seat belt, etc?

Not a theist, but some contest that these things (medicine, seatbelts) are God’s answered prayers. Religion & Spirituality
