I know many guys keep female friendships wether they are in a relationship or not just in case there is a chance with one of them.

Not all guys do that but a great number of men do this (keeping friendships for the chance of a possibility with them)

Well I am in a relationship but for some reason or another we had kept breaking up and getting back together. Now he says it's very serious and wants to make a family with me and just be serious with me.

I have one guy friend who said he would marry me, I keep in touch with him and my boyfriend does not know about him, but today it kind of slipped out into a conversation and he got mad with me and wants to know what i talk about with him and why i'm even talking to him in private chats etc. and I felt scared to I deleted and removed everything about this friend because i don't want to ruin what I have now..

but I somehow feel it's wise to still keep him around not cheating but just in case my boyfriend and i split, i have someone as possibility.. I don't like to start from scratch looking for someone and this guy could be back up

it sounds bad but really would you guys do this?
even if it sounds bad, maybe it's a smart thing to do?
I'm not going to talk or flirt with him but just keep him as contact/friend

My name is Elise and I had a falling out with my ex-best-friend Mo about 3-4 years ago over small reasons. I did hurt her, but I never intended to cause her as much pain as I did. We were friends our freshman year of college and I ended up breaking her trust by going for two guys we both liked. Anyways, we had an amazing connection and I feel like I haven't been able to find anyone else like her since we were friends. She was truly my better half, she genuinely accepted me for who I was, and I never felt judged by her. I could be my authentic self around her and I truly just miss having her in my life. When our friendship first ended, we couldn't even talk to one another and she would be pretty passive aggressive when she saw me. She would stare at me, try to be loud to get my attention, or do things to get me to look at her. However, in the past 2 years we've gotten to the point where we can be cordial and act friendly with each-other in person. Although, I haven't seen her in over 6 months because we graduated college and are working at different places. When I was able to see her in person last year, I could tell we still cared about one another and each-other's well being. In the past 6 months, I have texted her a few times to get help with work stuff and she responded, but the last time I texted her in November, she never replied so I was just confused. I am now at the point where I want to text her and tell her I have something important I want to talk to her about and just tell her how I feel about everything and explain how much I miss her/want to earn her trust back. I can't get her/our friendship off my mind and it's been taking a toll on me emotionally. I just want to know what's the best next step to take. Any advice? My male coworker and I had feelings for each other. We never met by ourselves. Earlier this year, I finally confessed to him. he admitted too and said he can see us together but it’s difficult as he is in complicated relationship. I stepped away. Its been 6 months. I recently heard him telling that he has bought a place for himself. He was living with his girlfriend before. He hasn’t mentioned about breaking up though.

Now, he asks me questions which seem unnecessary. For example, Last week, I went to conference with another male colleague to another city and he asked if we went out together there. Before leaving for conference, he had asked if the other guy and I are staying at the same hotel.
I want to know why he seems so curious now and asks me all these questions. Please help.
