So I'm in a relationship with someone. I have been for about two months now. He's starting to show his true colors, and many problems and arguments have occurred. He doesn't have the same ideals as me, he views relationships, money, and life differently than I do. He doesn't care about my opinion on things, he'll do them even if I beg him not to. However, we share some common interests and he's generous. A friend I've been talking to for a while now said that he's not right for me, and maybe I'm just too blinded to see it. However, recently I'm realizing that this friend thinks exactly the way I do in every situation or idea we've talked about, has the same goofy sense of humor as me, has common interests, he's more willing to compromise, and he's slowly becoming more and more attractive to me.. Not to mention he's a gorgeous, hard working, fit, man with a sexy accent, love for kids, and a strong sense of family. I feel really bad for being attracted to someone else, but he's a good friend. He has no idea I find him remotely attractive, but he displayed interest before I got into this relationship. I believe every relationship deserves a chance, and I won't give up on it until I feel there's absolutely nothing left. I feel like having someone else there kinda stealing the spotlight is clouding my judgement. Then again, if I felt this relationship was right for me, I wouldn't even find anyone besides my boyfriend attractive.. I don't know if I should keep fighting for this relationship or give up and maybe see if this guy is interested.
