With so many people in the U. S. saying disband the police. should we then consider creating a draft scenario instead. for the Police department, Fire department, EMT's and other emergency workers. since many of the people in those fields. either pick that as there main carrier path in life. or at least volunteer to do the work to help out their communities.

what are your thoughts?

my thinking behind this question. is then more people would better understand. what those who pick that carrier path. have to deal with on a daily bases.

and to be fair to everyone and have it be fully randomized. not just pick people based on there skin tone, gender, ethnic group or wealthy. which after being picked they then go for the training to do that job their signed to do.

What images and thoughts came to mind as you read each statement? Were they consistent across the groups? Are there differences in your reaction and assumptions? This is your sub conscious mind... what you've learned about different groups. It may change substantially as additional information is provided.

3 black men are standing on the corner
3 white men are standing on the corner.
3 chinese women are standing on the corner.
3 Syrian refuges are standing on the corner.
3 Police are standing on the street corner

Are the thoughts creating different images? Are do you see how the mind jumps to quick conclusions about people, based upon no information or are you equally fair to all?

What I suspect is that our minds have "maps" for different kinds of characteristics and impressions in terms of safety, security, behavior, etc.. Those are biases... racial, ethnic. You can change the attributes to discover how you have an impression of different groups.

Our initial assumptions are formed by our minds filling in the gaps of important information. What is your mind trying to figure out? The assumptions can easily be false. Where are these images formed from? We are likely all different in that regard, but there may be generalities to gain. By discovering these issues... we can find problem areas and focus energy on correcting our views of others.

Cape Coloureds and Blacks

What I read from wikipedia.

In the late 17th century Slaves were imported to the Cape maily from Madascar and The Indonesian acepelego.. later slaves from java saint helena
jndia and malaysia followed. and a new race group emerged from the union all people creating the Cape Coloured ethnicity. The Cape malay further contributed to the Coloured ethnicty

The Coloureds were later divided into these subgroups following the GROUP AREAS ACT OF south in 1950

THESE ARE THEIR SUBGROUPS
1. Cape Asian - Slaves brough to Cape in the late 1700s that all intermarried
2. Eurasian - half Caste (Cape dutch + Asian Slave)
3. Mulatto -(white and African or khoisan)
4. Cape Coloured - Asian european and African African that have all interbreed over the years.
5. BASTERS - khoisan-that married either Asian eurasian or caucasian people over the years

Coloureds are a multiracial ethnic group native to Southern Africa who have ancestry from more than one of the various populations inhabiting the region, including Khoisan, Bantu, Afrikaner, Whites, Austronesian, East Asian or South Asian.

This Black African guy, is telling this Coloured (biracial) guy that he is not indigenous to the land. when the coloured (biracial) told him that they are all African regardless of skin color and race

Blacks in south africa want all racial minorities including: whites, indians and coloureds (mixedrace) off their land.
