So i was seeing this guy for a few months and he was never in a proper relationship. There were some red flags and arguments throughout.. in the beginning he told me i was his type and told someone he met a beautiful girl etc.. called me his girl to someone a week before things ended.. i was nothing but honest and upfront about everything and he seemed like he was afraid to label things.. anyways we attempted to go to third base if you know what i mean lol.

Then after he's like your not my type and I've been feeling this for awhile.. ghosted me after. then recently i messaged him to get closure and asked if he was embarrased and said what he said or used me for sex. he was just saying awful names /things and that no one wants to be with me.. also during our brief conversation he was like "now that i was an asshole you can move on". It was a civil conversation and then he turned it into a hostaile conversation and blocked me.

So I’ve been texting/video calling this guy for 6 months during lockdown. We’ve managed to see each other a few times after. We’ve kissed and made out one time.

Although we never really defined what we are, I think we’re kinda friends with benefits even though when we interact he doesn’t really treat me like a friends with benefits, he’s super caring and respectful and actually tells me stuff about his life. Plus doesn’t press me into sex at all.

He says he really loves my company and is impassioned by me; he also said once he couldn’t help but fall for me. But he’s very inconsistent and sometimes we can go from texting everyday to a week without texting and he leads a super busy life and all.

So here’s the deal,
It was my birthday at some point during lockdown and I told him a couple of days before and he said he would love to give me a hug and wished me a good day. But when the real day came he saw my stories about my birthday and said nothing!! 4 days later he texted me acknowledging my birthday by asking if I had a good day and saying he hadn’t been well cause someone he used to know died…but still…

His birthday is coming soon but we haven’t texted in a week. We’re suppose to hang out but he’s very busy. So I’m wondering whether I should text him happy birthday or reply to one of his stories and say “Is it your birthday? Hope you had a nice day x” OR whether I shouldn’t text anything at all? Oh and actually he never mentioned his birthday to me at any given point so I’m not so sure I should and I feel if I do I’m chasing after him a little.

Thing with this guy is I don’t want to get used to me always being there for him cause I won’t be! Sometimes I have a feeling he takes me for granted also I’ve added him to my close friends list on insta but for privacy motives.

And maybe if I don’t wish him happy birthday it might serve as a wake up call for him

So I met a guy on Hinge a few weeks ago. I’ve been busy for the past few weeks, so finally had the chance to meet him this weekend. He was accommodating of my schedule and insisted that he will change up his schedule to work for me.

Friday night, we met up for drinks at a romantic bar (he’s new to my area and wanted me to show him around). It was chill and I have to say, he’s a talker (wasn’t really that way whenever we text so it was a pleasant surprise). Like, he talked A LOT. Didn’t completely mind because I hate small talk, I just wish he asked me more about me. Left the bar, went on a long walk around the city since the weather was nice. He was a gentleman the entire time, making sure I was on the inside of the sidewalk, arm around me etc. Overall had a good time and he asked (2x when we were out, 3rd when he walked me to my door and we kissed) when he’d get to see me again.

We end up making plans for the following night. B/c I wasn’t free until very late at night (lot of places closed), we decide to have a chill night at his place. He picked me up and I met one of his best friends (it sounded like he told him about me before). We made a late dinner together then ended up hooking up. I was in my head because pretty much the entire time, his eyes were closed. I was feeling some type of way b/c I thought, maybe he wasn’t enjoying it (even though he finished) or maybe he was thinking about someone else.

So we finish with that, he takes care of me, and we talk a bit and cuddle for the rest of the night. Sneaking kisses in between, gave me a forehead and shoulder kiss. Really seemed like he wanted me to stay- when I’d try to get up to get water for example, he’d cuddle me tighter so I wouldn’t go (in a cute joking type of way). He drove me back home this morning and again, asked when he’d see me again, so we have plans for dinner/drinks this weekend.

Based on this, does it sound like he’s into me? The eyes closed/not asking enough about me makes me question.
