Say for instance you have a date set up with a girl for Friday afternoon, and right after noon on Friday she needs to cancel. She says she’s sorry and that she wants to reschedule to next week, and you respond within a half hour and say Tuesday is good if she’s available. She doesn’t text back. How long do you wait before refreshing that conversation with something casual... like how was your weekend?

Say you already know the person, and the odds she has changed her mind about you are low.

This is a sore topic because I screwed something up once, and part of the reason I think was messaging too often. Now I never send a second message before getting a reply, except for special situations.
