Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas Allegedly Bragged About How 'Easy' Her Race Was

Transgender swimmer Lia Thomas reportedly made an arrogant comment about how "easy" one of her races against female opposition was.
Lia, who used to go by Will Thomas before her transition in 2019, made headlines last week after shattering multiple US women's records at the University of Pennsylvania.
She has copped plenty of backlash on social media from disgruntles sports fans, but has remained humble and even come out to try and explain why she feels she's eligible to compete.
Now, though, it seems her name is in the spotlight once again, this time for allegedly bragging about winning her races.

Speaking to OutKick, one of Thomas' swimming teammates claimed she she had said: "That was so easy, I was cruising."
The teammate also detailed how fellow competitors would often be left in tears when coming up against Thomas in the pool.
"They feel so discouraged because no matter how much work they put in it, they're going to lose. Usually, they can get behind the blocks and know they out-trained all their competitors and they're going to win and give it all they've got," she said.
"Now they're having to go behind the blocks knowing no matter what, they do not have the chance to win. I think that it's really getting to everyone.
"Usually everyone claps, everyone is yelling and cheering when someone wins a race. Lia touched the wall and it was just silent in there. When [UPenn swimmer] Anna [Kalandadze] finished second, the crowd erupted in applause."
"Pretty much everyone individually has spoken to our coaches about not liking this. Our coach [Mike Schnur] just really likes winning. He's like most coaches. I think secretly everyone just knows it's the wrong thing to do," the anonymous female swimmer said.
Thomas competed in the men's division until she transitioned in 2019 and has been taking hormone blockers ever since.

I like my crush that I tried moving on from multiple times. I have my reasons for liking her. She brings out the best in me, which is good and important to me. She makes everything better, when I’m around her. I’m not sure, if I’m in love or just like her. I truly care about her and have shown her that I do. A lot of the time, I’m concerned about her getting the coronavirus because she doesn’t really wear a mask. She’s tells me that I shouldn’t worry because she’s not afraid of the virus. That’s her view and I respect that, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop caring. I can tell all this is first and it’s a first for me too because I’ve never had deep feelings for anyone before or even cared for someone this much before. There’s been a few times, when she wasn’t feeling good and I showed my concern for her. I would always ask, if she’s alright. Overall, if she not doing well I’m concerned, even when she’s having a bad day I try and cheer her up. I’m not sure, if girls care about something like this. Had to ask though. She isn’t interested in me at the moment, but she’s only 19 years old and has never been in a relationship before, and has never gotten this much attention from guy from what she told me. She still trying to discover herself and see what she wants in a guy.
