Search Results: whiter skin or tanned skin

So I'm 15 years old and I'm from Lebanon. I'm brown skinned/tanned. Whenever I say the N-word infront of my friends, they call me a racist which is not true. I am very passionate about black culture and I think that without blacks, the world wouldn't be what it is today; but thats a different story. I see all these white rappers saying: N**ga this N**ga that, but noone minds. However, when another non celeb white person says the N-word, everyone attacks him even if he doesn't mean it in a racist way. I've spoken to some black people before and some say they wouldn't mind me saying the N-word, but others have different views. Do you think they are overreacting?

I am black, but I have a white mother, and though my facial features look like that of a black person, my skin color is much closer to my mother's than my father's. I basically sort of look like a black person with skin almost as pale as a white person. Sort of like this.

My girlfriend, however. She is white, blonde hair, blue eyes, typical white people traits. Usually, by default, she is slightly lighter than me... not by a lot, but she is.

However, she likes to go to the pool and beach a lot, and when she gets a tan, she becomes WAY darker than me, lol. Sort of like this.

As such, I find it extremely ironic that even though she's white, her skin is often times darker than my own due to tanning. She's white, I'm black, but sometimes she's darker than me. As such, it feels rather ironic to refer to her as "white", lol.

I know that tanning won't change your race, but in that time while her tan is really on, I wish I could refer to her as "gold" or "brown" rather than "white", because that's what she looks like.

I don't know if it's just me, but to me it seems like white people wear shorts much more often than other races.

From my personal experience, at least, I see a heck tone more pale bare legs than other colors (slightly tanned, brown, dark brown, etc).

It seems like white people wear shorts a lot, while other races (Black, Asian, Latino, Hispanic, etc) wear long pants more often and rarely wear shorts.

I don't know if it's because darker skin attracts more heat so wearing shorts would do more harm than good, or if dark bare legs are not seen as attractive as pale bare legs by society, or if white people are just more carefree and casual, or if it's not even a thing at all and I'm overthinking... but from my experience, white people wear shorts more.
