I do believe the "birds of a feather flock together" principle and is true. I honestly don't care how my friends look but I find that certain personality/lifestyle types dress a certain way and I base friendships off personality and lifestyle. I want more friends because my social life is lacking. I lost contact with a lot that changed in college; we no longer click nor do they want to be bothered.

In class, I hardly see girls who dress like me around. I a few on campus and I'll compliment their outfit but I'm not sure how to initiate friendships with a stranger. It's like all glammed up or plain jane and I feel stuck in the middle.

I try to befriend girls who dress similar to me or way more casual since I feel comfortable around them and usually have similar personalities. Unfortunately they are often mean to me.

Girls that dress nice try to befriend me. I'm talking stylish where guys are all over them and try to talk to them! Guys still act like I'm invisible unless I talk to them first.
I don't dress up as much as them so I don't get why they want to be my friend. I'm always skeptical because I feel like they're being fake. I tend to judge and assume them as "mean girls" and think that they want me to be their *D. U. F. F. Sometimes I find out later these girls are kind and have personalities similar to me so I feel bad to have wrongly judged but I can't help it.

I love their style and wish I had the guts to wear hot outfits but I'm too self conscious of showing skin.

I talk to my girl friends about it, and they think I'm trying to hard to get into a relationship. I really just crave an emotional and physical relationship, since I've never had one and I'm a serious romantic. But I'm also a tomboy, and so I can't flirt at all to get one, (well I can but I flirt like a dude.) I tried getting one of them to help me, but they think I'm wasting my time to try to put in effort to get a guy I'm interested in, and its not like I'm limiting it to a small circle; I'm willing to be open-minded to plenty of guys to at least go on one date with but I never have any luck for some reason. I don't think they understand, because they tell me I shouldn't be trying to get a relationship because I'm fine on my own, but then one of them has a girlfriend and the other always has a guy to sleep with or date so like they don't get what its like to not be able to get a guy easy. Do you guys think I should just let high school pass and not even date one guy or should I keep trying even while my friends are being hypocritical and telling me not to?

Some tomboy do look like guys and sometime I get myself attracted to them. Does this make me bi?

U CAN BE BOTH, BUT WHICH ARE U MORE OF? What do you do that makes you more of one or the other? Tomboys, are you ever mistaken by guys/girls for being gay/lesbo/dike? Do people assume you're a hoe because the majority of your friends are guys?
