You can read more details in my other question, but here we go. I like this guy at school & I just met him this year. I’m not sure when I really started to ‘like’ him but it’s been at least since October. He sits next to me at lunch everyday & if anyone tries to sit between us he won’t let them. I think he likes me back but at the same time I’m not 100% sure & I’m not the type to say something first. I’m too shy. About two weeks ago I did this ’25 facts’ note tag on Facebook & I put on one of them that I had a crush on someone. Well, he’d gotten an account not too long before that & he did so after I told him he should get one. After reading my note & facts he commented saying something along the lines of, “such-and-such number is about me, isn’t it? Yeah, I’m being egotistical, ect ect”. Well, we had a bunch of replies back & forth & I hinted that it was a yes & then he said he’d say yes back. Well the next day at school, he said he was tired the night before & was like, “What were we even talking about?” So I just kind of played dumb like I felt like he was doing. He continued to make a bunch of references to Facebook, but I was too chicken to say anything since he wouldn’t really come out & say anything exactly about it either. Well, I planned on saying something to him if nothing happened on the Friday before Valentines Day. The Seniors did a fundraiser so you could send a rose or candy kiss & a note to someone, so I ended up sending him a kiss with a note saying, “I said yes, so what’s going to happen next?” Well I did it anonymous & a lot of people made a big deal about him getting a kiss & note. Well, they were trying to figure out who it was & he said, “I know who it’s from.” But he wouldn’t tell anyone. Well after a few minutes, which this happened at lunch, he turned to me & said, “You said yes, and I said yes, but you have to explain to everyone.”

Well…I’m just not that way. I mean, I would if he’d do it with me, but I don’t want to come out & tell everyone by myself. So…I ended up playing dumb myself then & was just like, “What?”

A guy friend of both of ours has caught on to us liking each other & now he’s always commenting & saying things about us being a ‘cute couple’. The other day in English the tables were next to each other, my crushes & mine & our friend started moving my crushe’s & his table since the seating is different & he joked, “We don’t like you anymore Amanda!” Then my crush said, “I like her.”

Our friend, “I –know– you do.”

& then neither of us said anything.

We used to talk more on MSN but now we hardly do. It seems like I’m the only one starting the conversations which last maybe 5 minutes & he never starts them anymore. I’d like to say something, but I just don’t know. Before the Facebook thing he always said goodmorning to me before class, but now it seems a lot more rare & it makes me sad. So…is he losing interest now? Or does he still like me but since neither of us says anything, we’re both too shy or nervous?
