Do you find the combination of this skirt and the thigh high socks slutty? Can one wear this casually (in a rather big city)? And what do guys think when they see a girl dressed like this?

I know it's summer but my two coworkers and I were having a debate during lunch about Ugg boots. Anyways when they were brought up I said my favorite part about them is the feel of the soft fur on my feet. They both looked puzzled and one said it is soft but she can only feel it on her legs the other one agreed and added its only if she wears short socks with them. This is where I got confused and asked if they wear socks with their Uggs. They both said of course and asked if I don't. I tell them that I can count on one hand the amount of times I have worn socks with my Uggs since I got a pair in middle school like 14 years ago. They were grossed out but I told them that everything I have read about sheepskin says that is how I should wear them and they are so comfy I wouldn't care anyways.
When I got my first pair at the store I remember the sales person telling me that it is recommended to wear them barefoot and I have not complained about it I thought everyone wore them barefoot. When I checked the Ugg website It confirmed barefoot is the way to go.

If you go to the Ugg website and look under FAQ and click comfort and fit It says to wear them barefoot.
I am wondering now how many people know about that or follow it if they do know.

So, I am getting married this year and I would prefer a summer wedding but my mother for some reason really wants to see a winter wedding. She has this idea of an outside winter ceremony at are family vacation house. I like the idea the house is in the mountains and would have snowy peaks all around it is not what people normally do and my mom said she would pay for the whole thing if I did this (My parents are loaded so It’s a nice house). So, I like the idea, but I am worried about the cold for the guests as well as me and my bridesmaids in December it gets cold in the mountains.

I am going to tell my guests that winter layers and boots are recommended so the guests should be fine. But myself and my bridesmaids are a different story. Are top halves should be fine we will all have fur wraps and we can get the dresses made with fleece lining if we want. Our legs we are not sure about we think just some nice fleece lined leggings which should be fine. But our feet we have no idea there is no way any of us are wearing normal heals and even some dress boots with socks would be cold. I really do not want to be cold at my wedding. So, when the five of us were brain storming ideas the idea of Ugg Boots came up. I know Ugg’s to a wedding we were joking at first and laughed it off, but we kept coming back to the idea and it seemed less and less crazy.

We all live in our Ugg’s all winter so it would be what we normally wear. We started to play around with looks and we kept liked how they were looking. We think brand new (so they were nice and clean looking) tall ones would look good with the rest of what we had. For me my dress is long enough no one would really see so great. But for the other girls their dresses are not as long so they would be in full view. They will all be matching.

People will judge but am I crazy for feeling I should just do what will make me happy on this day and not care what other people think about it?

I am in my late 20's and I still wear my Uggs all the time and before the haters say anything I don't care If people think they look bad I like how they look and I don't care how they are made. I go to a yoga class once per week about and I always wear my Uggs to this class because they are so comfy and easy to slip on and off. I have had Uggs for over ten years and have always worn mine barefoot they are so comfy and Ugg says to wear them that way, I know most girls at the time also wore them barefoot. This was the time when every girls wore them with skirts/shorts. In my yoga class a lot of people also wears their Uggs but from what i can tell all but one other wears socks. So today This Women came up to me after class and said how gross it was that i didn't wear socks with them the other girl who doesn't wear socks over heard and backed me up on telling this girl that Barefoot is the recommended way to wear them and we can wear them anyway we want. Its not like they smell or anything mine have never smelled from wearing them barefoot. I just wanted to know out of the women who still wear Uggs how do you wear yours. My two sister and my best friend also go barefoot with theirs
