Girls who still wear Ugg Boots do you wear socks or go barefoot?

Question

I am in my late 20's and I still wear my Uggs all the time and before the haters say anything I don't care If people think they look bad I like how they look and I don't care how they are made. I go to a yoga class once per week about and I always wear my Uggs to this class because they are so comfy and easy to slip on and off. I have had Uggs for over ten years and have always worn mine barefoot they are so comfy and Ugg says to wear them that way, I know most girls at the time also wore them barefoot. This was the time when every girls wore them with skirts/shorts. In my yoga class a lot of people also wears their Uggs but from what i can tell all but one other wears socks. So today This Women came up to me after class and said how gross it was that i didn't wear socks with them the other girl who doesn't wear socks over heard and backed me up on telling this girl that Barefoot is the recommended way to wear them and we can wear them anyway we want. Its not like they smell or anything mine have never smelled from wearing them barefoot. I just wanted to know out of the women who still wear Uggs how do you wear yours. My two sister and my best friend also go barefoot with theirs

Before my first pair I had tried was my friends’ pair which I wore the whole school day barefoot because she said that is how you wear them, and I fell in love with how soft and comfy they were on my feet. I begged my mom for a pair and got one for my B-day which was a month later. But when I got them my mom made me wear socks even though the card in the box said not to and the website said not to.
I was heartbroken they were comfy and warm with socks, but I didn't get the amazing feel of the soft fur which is what I really loved about my Ugg’s.
I started to do everything I could to go without socks. At first, I just lied about wearing socks, but this only lasted a few weeks because she saw me take my Ugg’s off when I got home and see I didn't have socks on. So, she made me show her me putting on socks with them. So, I started to take my socks off on the bus ride to school, so I was barefoot all day then coming home I would put my socks back on. This was the time when every girl in school would wear their Ugg’s everyday so after maybe a month I messed up and dropped my socks somewhere, so I didn’t have any to put on. Well my mom saw, and I made up a story of how my best friend had stepped in a puddle and her socks got soaked so I loaned her mine for the day. She bought it but I guess started to wonder about it. A few weeks passed and my mom surprised picked me up early from school on a Friday.
I guess she thought I was still going without socks which I was, but she had this whole plan to expose that I was. So, she took my backpack which had my socks inside and put it in the trunk, so I was stuck. She tells me that we are going to my favorite state park and going hiking. We get there and she hands me a pair of shoes to change into but no socks. I can’t take my Ugg’s off or I would show her I was barefoot so I tell her that I want to hike in my Ugg’s because I think they will work better then the shoes. She says fine and we head off I should mention that we are in the south no super south but still and it was spring late spring It was getting high 80’s during the day. I was still wearing my Ugg’s because the mornings were chilly, and the school AC was cold and because fashion and they were comfy. We started the hike at maybe 10:30 and it was in the low 60’s so not bad. But at half way an hour in it was already 80 somehow and I was sweating I had shorts and a t-shirt on but the Ugg’s I had were the tall ones and my feet were feeling it. We stopped for at the top for a break and I could feel my feet were soaked sweat was rolling down my legs in them. When we got back to the car it was high 80’s and It was really bad I could see wet spots on the outside from my foot sweat. My mom then took us to lunch and asked if I wanted to go shoe shopping, but I said no, and she took us home. When we got home my feet were hot and soaked and I took them off without thinking and my mom saw and just said I knew it. She Made me confess I have been going barefoot for months in them. She said If she caught me again, she would take them away. So, I stopped trying to go barefoot in them.
I wore Ugg’s with socks for years and forgot how much I loved going barefoot with them. Until one day in like 11th grade I was at a friend’s house and we were messing around outside, and I accidently stepped in deep mud and ruined my shoes and socks. Well we were like 10 min from leaving we were going to be gone all day and so with no other choice my friend loaned me a pair of her Ugg’s. I didn’t have any socks and before I could ask my friend for a pair, we were called to leave so I wore her Ugg’s barefoot all day. They were a nice almost new pair that was still super soft, and I remember how much I loved wearing them barefoot. So, I started to wear mine barefoot again. My mom said I was old enough to chose and years later I wear my Ugg’s as much as ever and still love wearing them barefoot.

I still wear uggs and always wear mine barefoot. People think your feet will sweat and cause them to smell but it has never happen to me. My friend wore her first pair with socks and her feet would sweat and they started to smell. After having her smell mine she wore her next pair barefoot and they never smelled.
The first time I wore them on and plane I forgot i had to take them off for security and had to go through barefoot. Now i just put socks on and before i go through and take them off after.

I still wear uggs. I love them tbh But I do wear socks. You are correct though that ugg are meant to be worn without socks. And the lady was rude to come speak to you about it.

My wife always wears her barefoot. They don't smell or anything so it's seems good. I have a pair she got me that i wear barefoot and they are very comfy that way.
That women was really rude to do that.

I loved them at one phase of my life , always with jeans ( it was a surfie thing ) never with socks , that was part of the joy.

None of my girlfriends seemed to embrace the Ugg as I did , but I didn't care..

The look was Velvet shirt , never done up , head band/ bandana , tight jeans and Uggs , I remember because it had to be a quick get dressed thing , always a bit unshaven , always a bit beached.. hahahaha , love those boots , finally wore them out ! Great times for sure , sleeping in the back of the Sandman , and tents all over the coast.

Going barefoot will make your feet 'more muscular and stocky looking', yes, but more importantly, it will toughen your soles till they feel like leather to the touch. My boyfriend goes barefoot, always and everywhere, and his soles are so tough he can run barefoot on gravel and most often win a race against a boy with running shoes.
I totally admire that in a boy -- but is it right for a girl? No, I really don't think so -- and neither does he! My soles are silky soft to the touch, and he wants me to keep them that way., so as much as he loves going barefoot himself, he always wants me to keep my shoes on -- and I'm totally with him on that!
Bare feet are totally awesome on a boy, but a girl should always wear SHOES!!!
