Search Results: obsessed guys on the first date

To keep the long story short, I went to homecoming with this guy, always supportive to him, he clearly has a crush on me, and everyone always tells me he does however:
• I have no physical attraction to him what so ever or crush on him..
• He asks me on dates and I always procrastinate and say no
• I constantly friend zone him by calling him "bestfriend" (Ofcourse I feel bad about this but i don't want him getting the wrong idea)

Anyways so, we were having a normal conversation last night and then he stopped replying. It's possible that he fell asleep but we text a lot and he normally would have texted me in the morning first thing. I saw him in the hallway this morning at school while walking to class. I took a quick glare at him and then looked away, he was with one of my girl friends. I minded my business and walked past them, because I was more focused on getting to my class due to having finals.

Should I just ignore him if he tries texting me again? It's already worse enough that he has a crush on me. What should I do? Is ignoring a smart move?

** recently I learned that a coworker of mine has had a experience with him having a crush on her as well back in middle school. He's done some of the same things he's done with her to me. She claims he was obsessed with her. Honestly it doesn't affect me but if I did actually have feelings for him then I would feel a bit hurt even though that was years ago. My close friend is always saying that I'm the only one he's ever been this crazy for which is clearly bs.

*** He hangs out with other girls at their lockers. Idc about this but just saying, I'm probably not the only one he talks to.

im not the kind of person who will date someone or even flirt, string along or initiate convos if i do not like them in that way. i would be honest and tell them like it is in a nice way. so thats the other 2nd thing i wanted to say. there were few guys that i was friends with they ended up having feelings for me, i didn't feel the same way and i know how it feels, its torture. we all wish we found a mutual love. one guy friend im still friends with him and talk to him sometimes but i dont hang out with him anymore because he kept pushing to date me, even asked me to get a condo with him lol, i didn't even date him, it was akward. so if i do hang with him it has to be with a girlfriend of mine. But there was this one guy, i didn't get a good feeling about him at all. he was literally OBSESSED with me. so this guy, kept forcing me to talk to him, and to date him, wants to see whats going on in my life if im dating anyone. this has been going on for like 8 years, so its been very long time and i put up with it for so long. the first 3/4 years i would always respond to him and talk out of respect and not to be mean, during that time he would try to say he likes me etc, gets very jealous when im with other guys and interrupts when im with them, he was creepy because he never smiles really, he looks serious, just one time he threatened to slap me when we were in highschool i guess as a joke but it was so random, he was showing me and lifting his back hand and said ill slap you so hard you will be holding your face for so long. i was so mad i told him i dare you to hit me n see what happens. he is bigger than me. i told him so many times, in a nice way i dont like him like that and how it sucks when people dont feel same way as you do, i told him im going through that too. he knew exactly he never has a chance with me, still he kept pursuing me, forcing me, getting so angry when i dont respond back. so anyways, this year i changed finally completely on him.
