So my girlfriend is usually relatively modest. She usually just simply wears a cute blouse, or a tank top/sleeveless shirt with some sort of jacket/blazer over it; and some jeans/pants.

But some days, she wears shorts... it's usually whenever she shaves her legs, and she then wears shorts almost a whole week in a row to enjoy her smooth legs before her leg hair comes back in. And there's nothing necessarily wrong with that. Her shorts aren't even that short. They don't have any legs to them, but they still cover her butt, and all the necessary things.

But the thing is, that though she's quite slim, she's quite curvy in her lower body... no, not fat in any way, but for her flat stomach and weight, she sure does have a big butt and some big thick thighs. Her legs are a lot thinner at the bottom, and then a lot thicker at the thighs. As a result, her shorts look a lot shorter, even though they're not indecent, and don't even show her ass... they almost look like underwear on her.


I've seen girls slim the way she is, but with a smaller butt, and smaller thighs, wearing the exact same style of shorts, same length, same brand... and on them, the shorts don't look like they're too short, nor like underwear. But with her proportions... they just look a bit too small.

But then again, it'd be REALLY wrong for her to not be allowed to wear an article of clothing every other girl wears just because her butt size and thighs are above average... so maybe I'm just overthinking it.

Plus, it's not like she's an absolutely shorts-crazed girl. She usually wears jeans/pants. It's just when it's hot that she wears shorts, or when she gets tired of wearing nothing but pants/jeans all the time.

So I'm not going to go into the specifics and brands of what me and my girlfriend wear, but I will prove a small general description.

Me, for my bottoms I only wear pants at all times... I don't even own shorts or anything else. The only time I wear shorts is with swimming trunks when swimming at the pool/beach... swimming "pants" would be quite ridiculous, as it would be way too much material and drag down my swimming, and take forever to try. But in every other situation, I just wear pants. If we're going somewhere hotter and non-aquatic, I might wear thinner material workout type of pants... but it's still pants. As for my tops... I just wear regular t-shirts... either by themselves if it's hot, but usually with some type of long sleeved button up shirt, blazer, or a hoodie over it. I always button or zip it up fully.

Now my girlfriend... for her bottoms she wears a ton of different things. She wears pants as I do. But unlike me, she also wears shorts, and doesn't hesitate to show a lot of leg when it's hot. She also occasionally wears cute skirts and dresses, at least a day or two a week. They're either super long maxis, or a short-but-not-too-short above the knee length, in which is like a hand or two above the knee. For her tops, she usually wears a tank top or cute sleeveless shirt/blouse, either by itself, or with a long sleeved blazer or somethinng over it. However, she leaves it unbuttoned. Her tops always show her collarbones... and once in a while they show cleavage too, but not a lot. Only like a 2-3 inch crack. She has also worn crop tops a few times, in which stop just above her belly button, they're not too short.

Based on what I wrote, what do you think? If you asked me, I'd say her, as her clothing style is more varied and more unpredictable. But I want to hear from you guys, too.

My take on it is that if you're heavily into modesty/conservation you'll prefer my style, and that if you like variation you'll prefer her style.

So what I mean by the title, is either my girlfriend shows a lot of leg, or none at all.

For example, either she wears tiny shorts with very small or no legs to them, and they basically leave her legs completely bare... no, she never shows butt cheek, but it's still a hell lot of leg. The longest shorts she's worn were mid-thigh length. Either that, or she wears full long pants, showing no leg once so ever. She never wears knee length shorts, or capris. She doesn't even own anything in an in between length.

It's the same with her skirts and dresses. Either they're full length maxis in which sweep the floor a bit, or they're a hand above the knee to mid-thigh length. Basically, they're either long, or pretty short, in which I consider above the knee "short" in terms of skirts/dresses.

When I told her I loved her style but asked why she did it, she just simply said she likes things that are either one or the other, and have overall made a decision. She said she doesn't like something that is the mid-way length, and hasn't decided whether to be above the knee or full length.

She also said that when she shaves her legs she wants to have them show WELL, not just a little piece. She always shaves her legs from ankle to butt cheeks, so there's no reason for her to cover any of it up when she shaves. So if the shorts/skirts/dresses are not above her knee, she doesn't buy them. She wears pants and maxis to cover up when the hair starts to grow back.

So that's her overall reason for dressing in such a manner.

Her tops are also kind of similar. Either she wears full long sleeves, or completely sleeveless. But the legs are much more noticeable.

Don't get me wrong, I DON'T have a problem with it. I absolutely love her style. But I'm just simply wondering how normal it is. Most people I know seem to wear something an in-between length at least sometimes, but she... never. So is it considered weird?
