This is from the perspective that they were barely or not discussed prior to the date.

My own view on it:

"Whilst I've never been on a date before, I don't think it's totally unreasonable, I mean imagine going on multiple dates with the same person, only to find out they have obvious things you consider to be deal breakers e. g. opposing political views, disagreements over whether or not you want children, etc. Isn't it better to just get your standards and deal breakers out of the way, instead of wasting time, if they weren't discussed properly beforehand? Generally speaking, I don't think people are willing to compromise on standards and deal breakers. Maybe I just have a tendency to think things through really deeply and try to be a perfectionist, but given what I've said above, I feel it makes sense, even if it comes across as rushing things or moving too fast."

You don't have to agree with anyone else's opinions on the matter, just don't bash each other over it and try to explain your own reasons, if you can, that's mostly what I'm looking for, whether you agree with my view on it or not.

This question is inspired by one I've posted before, lol and one of the answers I got on there summed up my point pretty well, so I thought why not:

Is discussing politics on a first date really such a bad thing?

I feel that life is moving way too fast, and that before I know it, I'll be dead. But there are so many things I still want to do in life, and I'm not sure I'll accomplish all of them. I also feel sadness that with every passing year, I'll never be able to return to that age; when I was 30, 27, 25, 22, etc. I also become nostalgic about my past years and long for the older days in my early 20s, wishing and regretting that I did some things differently, like joining the military earlier, or not messing up during my first years in college, or started studying languages earlier, or not having missed out on opportunities with girls. I've been feeling this way since my mid 20s, and it becomes more and more intense as the years go by.

On the plus side, when I shave, people think I'm 20 or 21 due to my youthful appearance. So there's that.

And they say women mature faster/earlier than men. *Laughing my ass off*

They literally ghost and avoid you if you do not have social media. If you do not have social media, then you do not exist.

And when talking to them it feels mostly like uninterested and dismissive and often with one word responses or so in a way of "There's your answer. go away now.". The dialogs are short lived and killed. I take it as it is - uninterested. Moving on to the next one. Oh noes, she's immature and boring too!

Sometimes I can hear from one of my peers later telling me "She's asking why you don't talk to her". 🙄😑😆😆😆
It's so nonsensical I won't bother being bothered. I'll just laugh! Life's too short to be bothered by nonsense.

How do the rich 50 year old men deal with those little girls I wonder. Or does it happen, that they'll start talking once they see his money or his expensive car?

Note, that this happens to me substantially less often with older women!
