I had some interviews (where I am the interviewer). I caught some of the interviewees lying.

For example they specified their English level to be C1 in the resume but when put into a verbal and practical test the interviewee has the same level of English as an average student in college (under intermediate).

In my previous job one coworker admitted also lying about knowing French to get the job. She had no consequences but she was not caught lying.

I believe one lie is enough to disqualify an interviewee (because what else could they be lying about? I don't want to go through it all to figure it all out). In my team there's no room for that. There are mistakes or metaphors or approximate explanations but lies are lies.

Many times people with different views to them claim others have complete ignorance to the situation. This is very belittling. They never assume that they may be mistaken or wrong. They say you are wrong.

This is the 3rd case of this involving me. The 1st time, I gave my views humbly that I don't believe atheists actually exist and the person said so you don't think I'm real? I said you as a person are real but the person being an atheist isn't. I gave 4 strong pieces of evidence showing they suppress it. They arrogantly said they are right and I'm wrong. I humbly admitted I can be wrong and they didn't.

The 2nd time, I was telling a person that our life can be meaningful even if an afterlife follows. They accused me of not appreciating life because I don't think death wins and is the end like him. He claimed life would be devalued if there was an afterlife. He rudely didn't even care to let me explain myself. To him, I don't appreciate life if I believe in an afterlife.

The 3rd time, I said morality is objective and he claimed even if God exists, it would be subjective. I told him that there could be a God but morality not be grounded in Him but in an unknown universal principle. He also called me ignorant, not even thinking he could be wrong.

Why do people claim others are ignorant just because they don't agree with their opinions or views a lot of times? They never seem to think they can be wrong.

Hey guys, I have a relationship with a great girl for 2 years now, we love each other and we have many future plans together. The problem is that the first week we started hanging out and sleeping together, i had a drunk one night stand with my ex-girlfriend at a party. The truth is that i hadn't got over her yet when it happened (she hurt me really bad, including cheating, ignoring me etc ). I hadn't told my current girlfriend about it, because then we hadn't had talked yet about being exclusive, I really liked her and didn't want to hurt her. I have really regretted about what happened and I'm not proud about it. She asked me if something happened between me and my ex that night before 2 years ago, and i couldn't help but telling her the truth, i couldn't lie to her. She told me that she felt bad about itbit it's okay because we weren't that serious back then , we were just getting to know each other better and that she appreciates I told her the truth. I don't want her not to trust me anymore because of this. It was a mistake which i fully regret. Today I'm trying to give her all of my love and she does so and i don't want her to feel insecure. You think she will not trust me after that?
