My boyfriend and I have had ALLOT of problems lately. Everything from lying to family, to broken promises and drugs. Other women and secret pictures. This past weekend was a draw for me and I spent the day in bed crying, in the shower crying, and curled up on the couch...crying. He on the other hand did what he always does when he came home and new he was in trouble, wondered around the house like it was covered in broken glass and trying to be the sweetest man around. But this time I couldn't look at him. I only cried. In my mind, when it hits that point, when there is nothing to be said and and no one can look at each other its over. So I asked him to leave. Its been a few days, and things have gotten back to normal and suddenly we are talking again. This time about what happened and all the things that brought us to this point. He is listening to how I feel and the things he's done to hurt me. There is no fighting, no hanging up the phone, just constant talking, comforting, and reminding that we love each other. Even a little laughter. But I'm cautious. We have had conversations like this where in the end he promised it would change...and it didn't. He hasn't promised anything yet, just that he loves me and never ever wanted to hurt me. He said he comes home soon and will be home all summer. We will have more time together, but last summer, the same thing happened. He was home, he started with the lies, the other women, pictures, parties where I can't come and more broken promises. He said this time is different. He is more in love with me, I make him strong.

Could this be working out? Could we be on a reconcile and possibly end up being stronger and better? Or could he be spewing out a new version of I'm sorry, please forgive me so I can do it again later?
