I love to pay attention to the unspoken language that our bodies speak, and in one if my college classes I noticed this guy mimicking my body language movement.

At the beginning of class he said hi to me and I replied back saying hola. I don't believe he heard me because he didn't say anything afterward. During our class lecture I noticed him sit forward when I sat forward. He also looked over quite a few times, and even watched me as a doodled some art on the back of my notebook.

That was the first day, but during our next class meeting we were practically on other sides of the room, but we were in the same back row. (if that makes sense?) when I leaned back in my chair resting against the back wall and stretching my arms I felt someone looking at me. So I discretely looked forward that direction. When I did so the person sitting right next to me quickly glanced at me. I am assuming that she was mirroring his body language and looking in the same direction that he had just looked. Do you guys think that is what happened? She glanced at me once before this and I have an instinct feeling that it was her mirrored movements if her male mate. They aren't in a relationship , they are best friends who went to high school together.

I struggle with mingling with other women... so it is not uncommon to seek a circle of bodies of the male gender.

Basically, I am just curious about what passes through their mind? At times, depending on the people, I feel a bit disregarded (due to their body language and mannerisms.)

And other times, I severely feel belittled... but I think my mind may play a role in those cases.

Are your interactions with me out of pity? Do you sensor yourself/conversation/opinions in my presence? Could I ever really be considered a friend?

I really don't want to make people feel uncomfortable, is all... and I do not want to be under a blind impression.
