I have gotten back together with an ex after a breakup.

She kissed an older guy right in front of me. She claims he was like a father to her... except her late husband was 40 years her senior before he passed. So her doing that crossed a line. She was 34 at the time. The guy she kissed was like 50 and married.

She went out of the country for 2 weeks. She didn't contact me during the breakup. She went no contact. It worked. I cried a lot while she was gone. She went no contact. I reached out to her and by the time she came back i had baked a cake etc. we got back together. Dated another year. She broke up with me for an unrelated reason.

Now... im on the other side of things. Learning from how my ex responded to my breakup.

What sealed the deal was that she acted like the breakup was no big deal. She didn't even act bothered by it. It creeped me out! Here I dumped her and she didn't care? Did she have another guy who would scoop her up? Why am I so bothered by her being cool with things and not yelling? Thats what i thought... it worked. That was like 3 years ago and again.. we dated a little more than a year after that. A total of 2 years.
