Search Results: is it too soon for a gift

I've only recently started dating this one guy.. total of 3 months, we haven't gone on a lot of dates (He's got a tight schedule as do I) but we converse a lot, pretty much on a daily basis. He's a real sweetiepie and I like him quite a bit. His birthday is coming up.. Should I get him a gift? It is it weird if I do because its been too short of a time knowing eachother? I just love giving gifts lol.. but and we've gone on very few dates.. Will it seem offputting or pushy?

What type of gift is good, I have something techie in mind that's under $30 ?

Me and my boyfriend will soon be 3 years together. we are 17. I bought him some kinds of presents including cool phone case, wall stickers, zipper earphones, cool gadget mug, massage device and I will also buy him some video games, and thinking about more ideas..
would be happy if you help me with that.. I will of course cake a bake or other sweet thing. :3
and I think I'll organize a picnic at a nice, quiet beach at sunset.. then back home to romantic bath with candles if we'll be home alone..
anyway I was also thinking about making a scrapbook with photos of us, decorate each page and stuff.
the thing is he always didn't really liked gifts such as copuns, stuff with photos etc.. all those DIY stuff.. but I was thinking it may be different since this one will include photos and such? is this a lame gift? too kitch or girly maybe? I'm afraid he wouldn't like it.. guys i'd like to hear your honest opinions about gifts like that! and if you have more ideas! thanks!

I asked this shy guy who I've been volunteering with to have some lunch with me, and we had so much fun! He's been eyeing me since October, but he has always been super quiet around me so we've never really had a conversation before the lunch. Even the waitresses were looking at us and I think they saw the sparks too ;) He gave me a small gift which was something I really liked, and asked me how in my opinion he should cut his hair, and few days later I found out that he cut his hair exactly the way I said would suit him.

Then a week after the lunch, last Thursday, I called him up and asked him to go for a walk with me, and he smiled and said "possibly", and we set up a time and place right there on the phone. He also invited me to an event related to a field we're both very interested in and passionate about. However, this morning he called me to cancel the evening walk which was supposed to be tonight, saying that he's sorry and unfortunately very busy this week. He's very active at school and student organizations and just started his own company. I asked him, whether he'd like to reschedule, and he said "sure, as soon as I'm not as busy". The weird thing is, that he brought up the event again, and re-invited me to come see it tomorrow.

Should I go to the event? Should I just forget about him?
