This bill removed SBR's from regulation under the NFA and treat them the same way that long guns are treated from a legal standpoint, which one has to pass a background check and be 18 or older to purchase instead of having to go through a long and painful process lasting over 6 months long and paying a $200 tax stamp and registration to get an SBR (any long gun witn a stock that has a barrel shorter than 16" or an overall length of less than 26 inches). I'd love to see it passed, while arm braces have mostly removed the problem by classifying it as a pistol, not requiring a tax stamp or wait time, but you still need to be 21 and while it's legal to shoulder it now and use the brace as a stock, they could change it back at any moment. This will also remove a vengeful partner perhaps from framing a gun owner for having an illegal SBR by attaching a short barreled upper to a rifle reciever and ATF will make sure any evidence that it was them is scrapped and you get charged, this will remove that. What would you vote in regards to this bill?
