I'm currently out of the country and I won't be able to see my boyfriend on his birthday. I wanted to have a present delivered to him. I'm between these 2 options. I feel like sending a birthday cake is better for the occasion, but he's told me before that he doesn't like cake that much. I'm worried that his parents might buy him a cake, too. So should I get him the snack gift box instead?

So my boyfriends sister is rude to me. I been holding this in and haven’t said anything to his sister about this for 4 months. She use to like them and now she doesn’t. I don’t want my hatred towards her to ruin our relationship. I don’t want the rest of his family to hate me if i talk to his sister about these problems. What should I do? Should I talk to her? She has a cheer competition tomorrow. I was either going to talk to her today or the day after her competition to cause her not to have stress at competition. When should I talk to her?

The reason I got her the gift was because it was her sweet sixteen. His mother got me Christmas gifts and I thanked her and I got her a Christmas gift in return and she didn’t say thank you. My boyfriend and I have been together for more than 2 years. He is great but he never suprises me with random gifts (meaning something other than birthday and Christmas gifts). Money is an issue for him, true, but most sweet little demonstrations of attention do not even need much money. Is it okay in a sense that I shouldn't be upset about it?
