A talented news reporter who has written many books gets a job that can further her career when she is asked to moderate a debate between two candidates running for presidency. She says one too many things and gets put in the political arena as a third party candidate. The story follows how her past (having sex with people to get a story, kidnapping, and lies) and her future collide to mess up not only her life, but also the country.
